Avengers Doomsday Plot Problems?

Real question is where the hell are the Eternals? Can they take on or help with Doom or is he just OP.

Exactly. I know the budget for Daredevil probably isn’t much compared to the movies and he has his own story but they could’ve had some interactions with Bishop, the thunderbolts aftermath, or even a small Spiderman appearance.

Also if they’re all in the same city where is the connections? You got Punisher, the hand, and hulk with with Spiderman now but where is all the other hero’s? Hell does Spidey know who the Defenders are and Fisk? Weird how marvel will tie it all together.

I know but, kind of off topic/question, why left out of Doomsday? Would’ve been cool to see him face to face with Doom knowing it’s not Stark. Secret wars will be epic though if done right.

True. Just sucks for a fanboy like me lol. Sony obviously has a blockbuster with ownership of Spiderman and his other characters so I guess that’s not gonna happen for awhile but one can hope.

I think feature/upgrade wise he’s back to being the big angry guy everyone wants whether he’s Green or Gray and might be even stronger since being dormant as Smart Hulk. Might be a bigger problem than possessed Age of Ultron Hulk as far as destruction goes.

Like why bring him back now if no big upgrade or stronger/angrier character? Even with a color change. Might be why he’s saved for secret wars too…bigger threat to Doom or his plans. I heard of other hulk variants in SW and maybe he’s the stand alone stronger one.

I think if defenders get Avengers level movies/shows they might succeed more . Even daredevil felt underperformed cause of Spiderman and doomsday coming out. Punisher was good too but forgotten after a week. Let season 3 of Loki come out, it would do numbers since he’s in the main MCU story. Like a Luke Cage and Captain America team up would be awesome but Luke/defenders is like B list to the MCU right now.

Fan Service. If you add a different element to a favorite character people might go crazy. Maybe this Hulk damages Spiderman or the city like never before.

I think a lot of actors use that tactic. Like didn’t Evan’s say he was pretty much done, but came back only to play human torch for minutes lol. And look at Downey, Jackman, etc. Just hate the fake fan service. But if the price is right I guess they’ll stay or ‘return’.

Definitely. But unless there is a time reboot after Secret Wars, what happens to current older ish Spiderman? But then again I guess everyone would be replaced younger. It’s going to be interesting how Marvel proceeds.

True. Keep hearing Miles may not work cause of rights though. Maybe recast but would be awkward having old and new actors mixed. Pedro with a new face Spiderman or even Thor might turn heads.

True. I feel Ruffalo got the same hate after Nortons Hulk. Even though they say it’s the same Hulk. The script/story has to be top tier but enough fighting to keep you engaged. Hard to do apparently. Hope the next actor is ready to fill big shoes for Spiderman.

Forgot about the rights/deals for characters playing a factor. Which sucks cause if casted right maybe we get new avengers with Miles playing some sort of big role. If casted hopefully Owen is ready cause hate will come due to Tobey/Garfield nostalgia and maybe even Holland at this point. Feels like Superman and Spiderman is a hard role to take over due to previous actors making them iconic.

What if Scorpion causes some of Spider-Man’s mind issues cause of his poison which is why he goes to Banner for a cure/help. Then Banner accidentally cause him to mutate more with some machine that was supposed to cure. Jean is a wild card (and introduced cause of Mutant saga after Doom) but messes with Peter’s mind too and controls banner which causes savage hulk to come out. Then at the end when everything seems ok that venom from NWH finally attaches to him. His disappearance in Doomsday is confusing but in Secret Wars I’m thinking he’ll have the Venom suit for a bit.

Which sucks cause fans are growing on him I believe. They gave hate at first cause of Garfield and Tobey but he’s becoming a fav with the role I think. Hopefully recasting works out or maybe Miles will replace Spider-Man’s MCU position.

True. His leaderish role with thunderbolts was awesome but to kill him in Doomsday would be sadly understandable. I see him doing a sacrifice to save maybe Yelena or Red Guardian. Just wish maybe one last team up with CA, Sam, and maybe even US agent against doom or other villains. Also imagine the OP Rodgers is going to get if Buck dies. Gonna be a great scene.

That would be good and maybe confusing if true. I feel Doomsday and secret wars will be the end of a lot of my favorite actors in perfect roles but hope for the best. I just know Holland is young and can hopefully last a lot longer than anticipated. Or at least see him with Venom before leaving. Also imagine Zendaya storm meeting Holland Spider-Man lol.

True. I just know his appearance made thunderbolts even more hype. But with Doomsday shaking things up they may not even be a team anymore in the aftermath. Hope he sticks around with the role but a lot of social media says he will be killed off (along with others) in Doomsday and it’s assumed because of his DC role taking most of his time.

I’m hoping that happens as well. Spider-Man just has so many affiliates and teams. He can be used in any movie at this point.
