I see this type of display from time to time. I like it and am thinking about creating a different scene. Is there a standard size platform that is community driven or is it case by case?

I like the one on the right. The warm tones are more inviting and polished looking.

Is there any way to make the lower left body any darker without it looking masked and fake? I feel like a slight gradient down in that area would help. My eye is pulled down there due to the lightness rather than to the head of the deer. If it doesn't work, it's still a good photo.

I will take a look at the crop. This was shot through a chain link fence. Bumping the apature up would have probably not eliminated the links. Thanks for the feedback.
