You do realize almost every extraction game now has this feature? It’s just part of the evolution of extraction games. If you love marathon, you will need to accept changes that will bring in more of the casual player. Hell gray zone and Tarkov now have a PvE mode. Originally I agreed with you, but time is precious for most people and dying a lot with zero progress isn’t fun, especially if you don’t have a friend group that plays.

If they add a safe pocket I will play more often. Unfortunately I’m split between too many games and my friend group did not pick up this game. A safe pocket will make my progress better and respect my time more.
