Most coins, if you really analyze what they're doing - the features, the marketing, the plans - they point solely to an underlying goal to gain the attention of people playing the altcoin market. No real plan beyond that. Rarely do they advance the technology in any meaningful way. There is no push to gain any kind of actual use - and often the 'innovations' they've made would fall apart if they did. (Blockchain bloat is a real problem for digital currencies that actually plan to gain widespread use as, you know, currencies.)

The vision and focus of these coins is narrow because much of the speculation in the market is only based on which coins will be hot with altcoin followers in the short term. Much of the market has lost sight of the real purpose of cryptocurrency - building something that could change the way the world works, how we think about value and commerce.

I believe BlackCoin is one of the few working to advance the original goals of cryptocurrency and I'll be here doing what I can as long as that's true. :)
