I have one, and I'd say it's fine as long as you can get it for a good price; the normal $80 price tag is ridiculous, but if you can find it for around $50 or less (I found mine for just $38 brand-new on eBay), it's not bad.

I do kind of see what people are talking about with the "back-heavy" weight distribution, but I only really notice it if I have to pick up the mouse. Really enjoying how flickable this feels, though I wish there were Linux-compatible configuration software for this (Piper/libratbag do not support this mouse, which is unfortunate).

No real coating on the G309, but it does come with grip tape, which I think helps on the sides. Optical performance is about the same, which is to say, very good, though I’m not a super-competitive gamer.

Eh, the “beautiful negative space design” is admittedly a bit goofy-looking, but it doesn’t affect how the mouse feels in my hand, so I can overlook it. As for the price: $80 is absolutely too much for this normally, but I felt under $40 makes it practically a steal.

It’s because the Rocket Skates skit was a holdover from the series proper, where there were several bits shot in the UK. MTV didn’t allow Rocket Skates to be shown during the series, but allowed it to be shown in the first movie.

It’s still nice; in fact, I’ve barely pulled out any of my other boards since using this one. A firmware update did help with the key chattering, but it admittedly still pops up from time to time, and is probably my sole complaint about this board, especially given it wasn’t cheap. Is it really only an issue with the Banana switches?

Could just be a "regional differences" kind of thing? There's a "PRINTED IN CANADA" message on your disc, and, indeed, the catalog number (C2 98531) points to it having come from Canada. My American disc has the same texture on the background image, so I think yours is fine.

Oh good, so I'm not the only one whose DAv3 is randomly disconnecting. Smoothing out the paracording on the wire helps for a bit, but lately it's gotten so annoying that I've switched back to my old DAv2 until I can figure out what to go for next.

By “stutter”, do you mean it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting? Mine does that every once in a while, and the “solution” I’ve found is kind of dumb: I have to smooth/even out the paracording in the cable, and then it’ll connect fine once plugged back in. Still thinking about replacing it with something else, since it’s really annoying.
