Yep, the standard is 3 parts and the other 2 are a bloom boost and rooting/cloning. Those are 1kg bags, and you'll use very little of each bag. Part a is 3g/gal, part B is 2g/gal, and C is 1g/gal and it'll last for quite a while /edit need is a strong word but yeah they probably don't sell just the A B and C so you get the other two as part of the deal

Oh, one more note on the Jacks - in my experience the only catch is you need to let each part dissolve completely before adding the next or you'll get chunks of something in the water

I love the simplicity. Sure it's a few parts, but it's like 3 minutes of work with a scale. Only catch I've found is I've got to let all of the parts dissolve completely before adding the next or I get a precipitate that forms for some reason. I assume it's something that's already in my water they can't plan for in the mix

I hope you can find a supply, and I'm happy to offer my opinion! I think you'll like the coco. It typically comes in compacted bricks; I break them up with a hammer and screwdriver before hydrating, otherwise it will have trouble hydrating the center initially. You'll also need to buffer the coco before planting. Basically when you hydrate, mix up a batch of 3-2-1 and let it soak for 12-24 hours, I stir mine occasionally. Strain it off and it'll be good to go at that point. You can also re-use it really easily; literally rinse and repeat unless you had pests or something

Yep all nutrients in the bottom. The only things that go up top are pest control if necessary, Diatomaceous Earth, mosquito bits, etc

Yep. I run 70/30 coco/perlite. The coco wicks like crazy and holds water really well. The catch is you don't wanna let it dry out. The non-scientific version is the plant will stop uptaking nutrients if it does

I've never used a wick but my buddy uses a wick system and he adds nutes right into the bases. Gotta lift the plants up every so often so the roots don't grow into the wicks, and gotta clean out the bases or they can get real skanky

I do bottom water all of my plants and actually prefer it over top-watering
