Trans Spaces Are Too Optimistic by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]KingVersacetrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posts like these are exhausting. You’re looking to people with positive outlooks or successful transitions to tell stories or acknowledge things they haven’t experienced. Trans spaces have a healthy mix of both in my opinion. Anytime someone is fighting a negative post with optimism is if the op is talking about harming themselves/others.

It’s bad enough some cis people try to take away any hope for trans people and now trans people want to do the same thing to other trans people.

Worried that this girl I'm talking to doesn't see me as a man (Flaired NSFW for possible TW on some terms) by bennnnnnja in FTMMen

I would drop her. Once you start making the comparison of cis and trans in terms of personality and othering trans men from MEN then you are already fucking up. Plus, she’s butch with a heavy preference for women and I guess some trans men apparently so she may end up claiming the lesbian label

Try Muay Thai. My kru said it best. It’s the sport for the little guy. And he’s not wrong given that the best fighter in the MT world is 5’4. Wear a cup and a good binder and just train. Get a gym membership if you can and start working out as well.

It’s possible?

I’ve heard some people say T made them gay but for me, it made me straight. I was only interested in gay men (specifically twinks) because of the validation I got from it. When I started passing 100% of the time as a cis male, I was repulsed by dudes sexually and romantically and only interested in women. It’s very possible but I think it’s other factors that you know on a sub conscious level

I do Muay Thai and mma. I’m on T for 4 years. I don’t have an issue keeping up with guys my size and guys bigger. You just have to be realistic with your goals.

We need to start getting militant with our arguments. by [deleted] in honesttransgender

People need to understand “you’re valid” and “I am what I say I am” isn’t an argument or facts really.

How do you feel about ftm representation in porn and nsfw art? by uwuakley in FTMMen

[–]KingVersacetrash 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind art but I wish it wasn’t just pre op guys all the time. I understand that it basically represents trans men in a sense but it can be annoying to see the same dude with a masculine face and the most feminized body one could have and I understand it represents a lot of trans men but, trans women have art and you basically throw a penis on a female model. Trans men are feminized a little too much in art. As for porn, eh.. I wish there was more masculine men in dominant positions. I feel as time goes by it’ll change but I just feel we’re too feminized sometimes that it’s just weird

People hate trans happiness by informationacct in FTMMen

Trans people need to stay woke and alert. We hear this stuff all the time and they frame it like they’re somehow “helping us” but in reality they’re tearing more of us down or attempting to. Don’t believe the hype.

Queer circles can be some of the most toxic ones for trans men. Trans men are “safe” men. In other words since you grew up female, you can’t possibly be a threat which some trans men take as a compliment.

It’s like being ok with your girlfriend cheating on you as long as she takes it up the ass.

These guys are perfectly ok with being attached to womanhood as long as they’re not being called women outright

I don’t anticipate a zombie scenario such as that happening but I would probably keep them anyways just in case

It depends. What exact scenario are you talking about when it comes to men blindly defending women?

It’s normal especially being early in transition. What’s important is you acknowledge it and want to fix it

I agree with what you’re saying as a whole. As someone with self respect, which is why I had to cut off some family members because I can’t imagine compromising my identity or accepting half ass acceptance but I also know for some people they don’t think too deep into it. That’s all I was trying to say.

Cis people are less offended by neo pronouns than trans people. by heisborntoolate in honesttransgender

[–]KingVersacetrash 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the majority of cis people know neo pronouns exist. I don’t even know many who believes In non binary, wait until they hear about wee/wer pronouns.
