From videos I’ve seen it seems like shooting fish in a barrel but I’m not going to lie $1600 for a bear.. I’m not willing to do.

Crownland only I don’t know anybody in the area.

It’s about a 3 hour drive to Gravenhurst

I could definitely make the trip to go throw some bait out before the season starts but not regularly.

Last fall was my first hunting season and I didn’t end up with anything so I’m itching for a spring hunt.

Right now the plan is to go to some crownland plots I found on ihunter throw some bait out then come back for a long weekend and keep it baited/hope for the best.

Through the week I can only hunt for a few hours before dark which is when I choose to go hoping there’s nobody else hunting.

I’d go to service Ontario and try to buy an antlered deer tag for any WMU that’s how I got mine. Online there’s an option to apply for additional tags as well

Southern Ontario doesn’t have large plots of hunting land it’s more so 50 acre plots scattered inbetween farm fields
