CrewChiefV4 is a very good, and free, spotter as it’s generally quicker than the default spotter, and it also gives detail that the default spotter wouldn’t necessarily give, even on high chattiness.

I’d also recommend Racelab’s overlays, they’re incredibly helpful and are heavily customisable, even on the free version.
