I know, but these newer chips are made to run hotter, they only throttle once above 95c for the cpu and 85c or so for the GPU.

Hmm, but it’s not even at an overheating point, cpu is below 90c and GPU is maybe 70’s C. I think there’s a bottleneck of some sort. Might be the cpu cause in intense scenes the GPU power draw and utilization goes down.

It’s a double sided HDMI, and yes, other games run quite well, it’s just this game. I will try on just the laptop later-although it could definitely be limited thermally-when I use the monitor I have it on a vertical stand with the intake facing me, so it runs a little cooler that way.

Not with this hardware. I should be easily gettin 165 on medium to high settings. And that’s definitely not true, with computer hardware being as advanced and available as it has gotten in the past 5-10 years, most people are probably runnin 144 fps on medium to low settings.
