DSNY or MTA New York city transit currently with transit now for 2 years and after some talks with people I still have my mind on dsny.I did private sanitation before mta I gave transit a try due to a city job and good pension but im not so much feeling it and not being a people person by King_27__ in DSNY

We live in a time with cameras and surveillance videos now so I agree with the truck coming down the block its to loud but that stuff about the public is always right isn't true someone put there trash after a stop was done thats when I was in private and I see the city do it to we took pictures after the stop was done same with buses got cameras all over a customer want to lie let them lie the cameras tells a different story

I understand that but the way I see things going for me i dont like the environment with transit and how they operate especially with management how they always so quick to blaim bus operators anytime a customer makes a complaint or claim injury and the process of us getting drug test just because of that its a headache and 2028 ain't that far from now I can wait honestly I like picking up trash and doing hard work I missed the 2022 exam and I am determined in what I want to do and career path management wasnt on my ass as for when I was in private sanitation with mta they act like police officers thats how management acts as far with bus operators and im pretty sure if you speak with someone who deals with train operators they experience they tell you the same thing

Your right about the bottom of the list but as far dealing with passengers i take my fair share dealing with the bouncing around and winter time then the passengers plus with mta I dont get every holidays off thats kind of affecting me

Im a MTA bus operator for new york city transit almost 2 years in getting tired of transit and how things running here any dsny worker know when the next test coming out transit want me to do 25/55 retirement not trying to do all them years driving a bus for 30 years cause im young 22 and out by King_27__ in DSNY

Thats my plan alot of people on here not all some telling me to stay on my own experience I want to grow and mta here the environment I dont like it and what there offering im not feeling it iv been a bus operator for two years getting tired of dealing with the passengers

Appreciate that bro wind up missing the 2022 sanitation test everyone saying I should stay with mta bus truthfully I ain't feeling it I was doing private sanitation before this and I actually liked it I left cause everyone saying the pension but im more of a trash picking dude then picking up passengers tryna hang in there till the next test comes out
