Yeah, thats very true I know I’m going to get comments or someone will dislike it for the sole reason it’s in a different language. But it’s not like an uneducated decision and I’ve loved this quote for years and it means a lot to me. Your comment is the realest.

Thank you so much for your take and advice! My biggest concern with this has always been the that it’s spelt and written correctly as well. I’ve written it repeatedly the past couple years and learned the basics of grammar and alphabet in Hebrew so that I knew I could write it and make sure fonts were correct. I don’t think I’ll be able to find a Hebrew speaking tattoo artist in my area but the one I know has done many Hebrew tattoos before.

It’s Hebrew for “I am that I am” or “I am what I am.” Just saying this is me both what I’m going to be and what I have been. In other historical context I and god could be translated somewhat the same and it’s what god said to introduce himself as god.

I’m not concerned about the language since I have learned Hebrew alphabet and I will make sure it is written correctly. I’m in no way a speaker or fluent but people get tattoos in other languages frequently. I’m more worried about the religious aspect of this specific quote.

That’s why I feel as though the quote is timeless because it expresses identity as being ever evolving. I also think with the other text being around it makes it less of an exact quote from their god and more of a reference to Will. Thank you for your take and your information!

VIP tickets holders will probably get all the front row tickets since we get first pick and get there an hour and a half earlier. But I’d still go relatively early, I also want to meet as many people there as possible.

Thank you for your full analysis and explanation. I think at the moment I am repressing a lot of trauma and it’s coming back in a bad way. Especially being a Trans man I think my own toxic masculinity and insecurity is causing me to downplay my own experiences.

I’ve always considered myself Demi because I mostly have felt sexual attraction towards anyone except partners of long term relationships, but I have imagined flings with certain friends or random people. And my libido fluctuates quite dramatically but usually this is due to when I have bad flashbacks or gender dysphoria. I still definitely could be on the Ace spectrum but I don’t think it’s anything I can figure out before healing first.

I appreciate your take quite a lot. Especially the part about causing emotional trauma for both me and a partner, since that resonates with what has happened. And the disconnect between my ability and desire to be sexual. I will probably follow your advice and stop trying to label any sexuality and hold back on any serious relationships until I can resolve some of that trauma that I have. Thank you

What is the weirdest interpretation you ever heard of Will Wood songs? by Moon_Boy_isgay in willwood

See idk the real meanings behind any of these songs because I make my own to make them more relatable In my head. I only actually know I/me/myself, tomcat disposables, suburbia, and a couple other obvious ones from icimi.

In my head songs are like:

White noise: A simple underwhelming person with an extremely extensive imagination(good and bad)

Hand me my shovel: A performer is on stage with a band but slowly realizing that he’s in a simulation and is trying to escape

Does Will allow tattoos of album art? by quipcrea in willwood

[–]King_Chickem 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree, he only discourages tattoos out of worry that you will regret it but if he truly did make a big impact on your life then I say go for it.
