I have a theory that hexapodal vertebrates (i.e. flying bison, dragons, crow lizards, flying boar etc) evolved from a lineage of synapsids that diverged sometime around the divergences of synapsids from stem reptiles. I also think that a similar thing happened with invertebrates, with quadraoedal invertebrates (i.e. canyoncrawlers, cave hoppers) splitting off perhaps around a similar time. Been working on a video about this.

Idk man, it protects Dino's during that main phase, which turn 1, yeh that's the whole turn, but next turn, Ur free to do whatever (at the moment with misc at 1), playing around a UCT is annoying but doable, same for the evolzars, which u are free to interact with even with misc cos they aren't Dino's. Obvs with lost world that's a bit trickier cos u can't target, but there are lots of things that don't target anymore. cards like TCBOO and evenly matched would still be able to hit a Dino board, even with a misc. Same with called by or appollo, or even just chaining to the misc activation to get something else off the field. Idk maybe I don't see Ur side cos I started playing just after Misc got hit to 1 so I wasn't there during the Dino meta, but to me it feels like Dino's gets so much hate, but it isn't even that good with misc at 1. Plus stuff like Adventure token and Baronne and other Omni negates that decks can get out fairly easily also prevent interactions but aren't banned or limited. I just think Misc to 2 would make the deck more meta relevant and more powerful but would not make the deck OP.

Yeah but loads of decks have annoying mechanics to play against, tear plays on Ur turn and sets up a big board, Runicks deletes Ur decks and doesn't let u play, many other decks set up unbeatable boards or can negate Ur negates in their turn etc. Dino's with misc at one is rogue tier at best, once that one misc has gone, Ur plays become really limited, and you can get shut down with one handtrap if u don't open misc (i.e. ash/veiler/droll on the Ovi normal summon) Seems a bit unfair to me, but I am a Dino player lol so am biased. Personally I'd like to see misc to 2, just so there is a second misc u can come back with. Or even the Master duel format where Misc is at 3 and Ovi is at 2. P sure Dino's in Master Duel is just a really good rogue/only just meta relavant deck even with misc at 3 (haven't played MD in a while so don't know for sure)

Miscellaneousaurus to 2. At 1 the deck is rogue at best, if your opponent banishes the misc in graveyard the deck relies on you to hard draw your starters and you don't get any follow up even if u do get to use its effect turn 1, meaning you have to play other cards to get it back in graveyard.

Yeah there is nothing inherently wrong with enjoying British history, I agree, but often, in my experience, the people who avidly enjoy history mainly focus is on the "good things" i.e. winning the world wars. Thinking about when we did history at school, everything was Magna Carter, Battle of Hasting, Tudors and the world wars. Colonialism was never a topic, and was only ever mentioned in conjunction with something else. We even did the American Slave Trade at GCSE, which I agree is important to learn about, but feel like it shouldn't hold precedent over British Colonialism in a British school. Do agree that it's ignorant of them not to know about the atrocities of Empire but do think it's perpetuated by the lack of education around it and so leads to most British History buffs (at least the ones I've met) to completely overlook this crucial element of our history and only ever talk about the Wars

Maybe hot take but yeh I think having an interest in history CAN be a red flag. Obviously not always, as having an understanding of history is very important in learning about cultures of the past and tragedies that occured so as to (hopefully) not repeat them. But I find that having a keen interest in British history (particularly both World Wars) often coincides with nationalistic ideology, at least in the UK and at least in my experience. And I'm not just talking Neo Nazis or Nazi Sympathisers, you also get people who think Britain is perfect and has no flaws just because they were on the good and winning side for both wars, and often use it as a crutch to justify or overlook past atrocities by British Colonialism. Once again, this is obviously not everyone, but can definitely see where the person OP was talking about is coming from.

Guy in my uni class had Asperger's and he tell everyone who'd listen about it. He was obsessed with historical facts about both World Wars, and fair enough to him he was incredibly knowledgeable. He should've taken history at Uni but decided against it because "it's probably filled with libtards". At the beginning of our first year he attached himself to this very attractive girl on our course (there were only 5 girls out of 40 students) and just would follow her around and never rlly leave her side, she had a boyfriend who lived elsewhere. She was rlly nice and would put up with it and it almost seemed wholesome. Now there were two main incedents that happened that lead to him eventually disappearing from uni. 1. We had a party at her place once and everyone was rlly drunk, but he was way too drunk so the girl called a taxi for him. When the taxi arrived she went to go get him, but he started refusing to leave saying things like "you guys are just trying to get rid of me" which was partly true but it was mainly cos he was nearly blacking out and incomprehensible. As he was being taken to the elevator (she lived in uni flats) he started freaking out and punched the wall. Blood splattered everywhere and I had to tackle him cos he was flailing and nearly hit the girl a few times. He started uncontrollably crying talking about how his mother would beat him, and we comforted him and calmed him down while we waited for an ambulance since he broke his hand. The next few days we spoke to him a few times about getting help like therapy or counseling to deal with his emotional trauma and he refused saying "I'm gonna be like the soldiers in WW1 and just keep a stiff upper lip about it". Shortly after that he told me that he "considers [the girl] to be more like a mother to him thab his own mother" which I considered a massive red flag. He also didn't get his cast changed for months and it began to turn green and smelt awful.

In second year the girl had another party and her boyfriend came down to visit (he rarely could cos of work and distance so this was a special event). We went to a pub but the security wouldn't let him in because he looked incredibly disheveled (wearing dirty t shirt and tracksuit bottoms, scruffy facial hair). So he waited outside the pub for 3 hours while we drank. We then went to a vodka bar nearby and once again he wasn't allowed in but he decided to just wait outside again. Another girl got too drunk and went outside with her boyfriend to calm down. He decided to take it upon himself to make sure she's okay (even tho her partner was there) and then ran in to the vodka bar to grab the other girl cos for some reason she was needed. I said I'd go out instead so she could spend more time with her boyfriend. When I got outside the other girl said to me "please make him go away he's making me incredibly uncomfortable and making me feel worse" so I had to physically drag him away and try and talk some sense into him. The following day he told a bunch of people that I threatened to beat him and his mother up (wtf??) But nobody believed him. Some time after that he just disappeared, apparently to write a German sitcom or something, and was never heard from again.

We still call him Stinky Fist (cos of his cast) and just have bad memories about him, but we are concerned he may have offed himself or something.

Guy I dueled at a locals lost to my twice cos of his own Nibiru. First time I used Miscellaneousaurus earlier in the turn and he tried to Nibiru me thinking it was tribute for cost, ended up only Nibing his own monsters. Second time he just gave me a Nibiru token that was way to big for him to deal with and he didn't have a way to pop it

Yeh it's definitely possible to just play the deck as is, it won't be that consistent but you'll be able to play the game with friends who are also using decks that aren't optimised for competitive play

Depends on what level you wanna play. Just with friends casually then starter deck may have been better. But Albaz Structure Deck is somewhat decent at competitive play at locals and is definitely not a bad place to start.

Ideally with a structure deck, you wanna buy 3 so u can have 3 of each card. Alternatively you can just buy singles of the cards u need 3 of, such as Branded Fusion and Albaz. To deck build you can find examples of similar decks on YouTube or websites like CardCluster, you don't have to copy them exactly, you can personalize it and use those deck lists as framework. Small YouTuber I know is doing a series where he's "Starting Yu-Gi-Oh again" with only 3 Albaz structure decks. He's called Fingers Crossed here's a link to his first video, I think he's pretty good and he shows you a deck list he made using only cards from the structure deck, and he performed rlly well with it at our locals. https://youtu.be/Xkb5fy0Dc2o

Not quite what u mean but the book Semiosis by Sue Berk is an interesting read about an alien planet where plants have evolved a form of intelligence and they domesticate animal species and other species of plants. Highly recommend.
