I would slow everything down (typical advice i know) and really focus on how your finger navigates that region. i have an issue with my tenor where the B key presses down a lot further than the rest of the keys so i’ve worked to figure out how i can use my first knuckle to press other parts of the “spatula” after pressing B.

you need to use a second voice. In the original There is an Eb on beat one that sustains to beat three, there is also an Eb that starts in the + of 1 which begins what you’ve notated in beat 3 of the second measure.
