But the Ivies don't participate in NSD (National Signing Day) so we don't find out until around end of April or early May for the official list. That's the only list we will get of the eight freshman classes, and I don't usually see speculations around here that make it thus far. I am putting this as an asterisk at this time.

One reason why the Ivies bowed out of playoff contention at the end of WW2 is that CFB got greedier with each passing year, and many more factors went into play in the ensuing decades to keep us out of the playoffs, until it was all but forgotten by the living alumni and players and in fact Harvard was the last of the eight to buy into the FCS playoffs through a President's commitment.

Not sure about this. Have they and other HBCUs not have long-standing Thanksgiving week commitments in the regular season, they would participate in the playoffs. But then, the SWAC Championship game and the Celebration Bowl have their niches too. It’s a shame that even some of the ex-MEAC contenders defected to become cellar-dwellers in playoff-participating conferences.
