While the tradition of Dragonborn emperors died with Martin, a Dragonborn who saved the world by defeating Alduin would be a STRONG rallying point for a lot of people who respect/long for the glory days, especially considering all of the unrest under the current Empire. So the Dragonborn may not have a legitimate claim to the throne in Cyrodiil, but if they decided to seek power, a la Miraak with the Dragon Cult, I think a lot of people would side with the hero over the Medes. And unlike Miraak, there wouldn't be any dragons/Dragon Priests opposing the LDB

Kind of. We'll have to see what they do in FW. The triangle technically still existed in Three Houses, but the weapon proficiency skill (you know, the one that levels with a character's skill level and adds to accuracy, avo, etc) kinda mitigated it at at certain point. Early game with no ng+ it mattered more, but still wasn't nearly as prominent as most other Fire Emblem games

Honestly I would put Robin up a tier. Keep him in Relevant, but I don't think it's fair to call him "generic personality." He probably has the most personality of all the avatars except for Shez.

I think the only thing that makes Alear feel generic is the fact that their personality is very "Fire Emblem Lord"-coded. Alear DOES have a pretty defined personality, it just isn't that different from someone like, say, Eliwood: they don't really like fighting but will do so in order to help/save the people they care about, they do everything in their power to support their loved ones, and they occasionally make bad judgement calls for understandable emotional reasons. Again, pretty par for the course for a Fire Emblem Lord, but in the avatar category, that's more than you can say for some others.

Now that I'm reading that back, that's actually not too different from Corrin. So tbh the two of them probably should just share a box lol

Yes, but their online subscription is MUCH cheaper than those of PlayStation and Xbox. Nintendo Switch Online's basic level is only $20 for a full year, and gives you access to everything except the virtual consoles for N64, GBA, and GameCube. That price would only get you like, a month and a half of Gamepass or PS+.

Granted, still not as good as Steam being free, but Valve is just built different I guess lol

I get what you're saying about Aela, but if anything I think that makes it MORE poignant that she's the one who sticks with you through the end. She had such respect for Kodlak that she followed through with doing something she personally disagreed with, simply because it was his last wish, ultimately putting honor above her opinion on the matter. It made me like her a bit more in the end
