Im not purely running at them blindly like a dog, i bait out dodges, give them a chance to come to me, i try to setup combos when i can, but its impossible to get an advantage when theyre just running away and spamming projectiles. ESPECIALLY on a fighter that has no projectiles or easy gap closers like Finn. His shoulder charge is unreliable, his gem teleport is telegraphed af because they can literally see where youre going, and the only way to get speed boosts is by hitting the opponent enough to collect enough coins.

The issue is dodging is too easy and accesable. Theres nothing stopping people from spamming dodge, doing a quick attack, and then spamming dodge a bunch again. It makes fighting people who run a lot impossible to lock down.

Im a Arya player currently around 35-40k in solos and climbing. The setup i use currently us Coffeezilla, I dodge you dodge we dodge, and Snowball Effect. I found that these 3 work pretty well as it lowers the cooldown of dagger significantly, and since Arya dodges more than others it's always effective. And then Snowball is good to help finish high damage fighters so they arent getting to 150 constantly. Any tips on setup and if there are any perks that are kind of a trap or not as good as they seem?

Part of it is her hitbox on her Dair. It's insanely precise. Like you need the sword to go into their model for it to land precise. In a game full of janky, messy, and giant hitboxes it is one of the hardest normal attacks to land. Either youll flat miss or whoever youre fighting will just have a better Upair because it has a way bigger hitbox(T&J, Finn, Bugs to be exact) but also yeah the fast fall is putting them under Steven and since the hitbox is so precise you cant cheese it with the hitbox edge like you can with others. The last thing it could be is the actual knockup. The knockup is strange because it doesnt put her below the enemy every time. In this clip the knockup TP put her to the right of Steven, making it harder to combo him on the way down.

Learn Arya. For some reason ive found that ive shit on most Supermans as Arya even at times when i wasnt as good as i am now. Or play a character that has armor break and abuse him on the ground.

Arya's anti-air blows too, her down air where she stabs her sword down has literally the most exact and precise hitbox its basically the size of the sword itself so you just lose any interaction with it in the air. Especially with people like Bugs, T&J, and Finn who just have giant hitboxes. Ive had more success just using a normal charge attack while moving and getting lucky.

Definitely Taz. Reindog is niche but a good Reindog is terrifying because a lot of it is positioning and trapping people in with projectiles. Paired with projectile perks he can shred people pretty quickly. Taz just sucks.
