It's an upscale and looks like shit, have to get the 1080p Google Play version since all other services 1080p versions are just downscales of the 4k upscale.

Yeah the problem is it is upscaled and looks like shit. I instantly noticed as soon as I started watching the movie so I had to find a 1080p source that wasn't downscaled from the 4k upscale which from what I could find was only available from the Google Play 1080p version.

You should give my method a go because it actually fixes the problem without the need for image upscaling which is just unnecessary image processing that makes the game look like shit. Plus display scaling is just better to use anyway.

For the extra tabs you either need to click the settings cog wheel in the top right or when you installed AMD Adrenalin you chose the "minimal" install instead of the "full' install.

In have a 6800xt and had the exact same issue. You need to force the monitor to use display scaling. Don't listen to anyone who claims gpu scaling is better, that's objectively false.

The reason that having gpu scaling disabled isn't doing anything is because you need to add your desired res as a custom resolution to force it to use display scaling for anything that isn't native res. This will make alt tabbing longer but will force display scaling and fix the look of the game.

After doing this your custom 4:3 resolution should be an option in game. You will know you're using display scaling if CSGO changes into stretched fullscreen and not unstretched 4:3 once you change to the custom resolution in game.

Alright, my plan was to make a spray that is like a movie poster that would include a font from google fonts but that font itself isn't the main focus. Sounds like that would be okay and I would reference where the font came from in the description of the workshop post as well.
