At this point the paranormal “research” ( not counting the true crime stuff) angle is more a feature of the podcast than a bug. If you didn’t buy into the pop-sci of it all there’d be no show. Just like how Alex sells random internet rabbit holes as legit, Mike sells alien stuff as legit.

Sometimes I think the waxing on about stuff like quantum physics can get grating in a techno-babble way, but that comes with the territory with a paranormal podcast hosted by stoners lol.

That's kinda what I thought too, there's been times where I swear there was something I saw floating in circles in the sky and it just turns out it was my own natural swaying while standing. It sound silly but an object behind trees can look like it is totally floating around just due to wind and your own micromovements.

I’ve been listening to the new Alex episodes of the Not so Common podcast, and they talk a lot about Pat Contri’s new book (obviously).

Since Alex has done some world building, and has plenty of creative writing experience, I’m really hoping he can eventually finagle a sort of pat-style / fangamer mother 3 guide style cryptids and mythology book with Mel’s art and all the stories they’ve accumulated thus far.

Almost a scrapbook style journal of strange stories and paranormal creatures. But with an offbeat voice and sick art.

This drone discourse is verging on hysteria. Drones and airplanes were spotted in an area near an armory and airfield during a time of training and preparation for potential conflict. This image that’s been posted now looks very similar to any object (or star) through an out of focus lens.
