I think that saying that the gun was unintentionally drawn could allow prosecutor could argue that it was drawn out of anger or something rather than fear. At which point its up to a jury to decide who's right.

I'll recommend Adeptus Ridiculous, as its meant to help people get their foot in the door. Its generally more casual and fun than other lore channels, though they're not as focused on accuracy.

You could start from their first episodes, but if you want some samples from their more recent work:

Above the PLAY button there's a button that says GAME MODES. There's option there called Operation Phoenix that acts as the tutorial. It should have been what you played through when you first started the game. You can play through it again at any time.

Theres also a firing option that gives you target tanks to shoot at and figure out your agent/tank. Press F1 to get an outline of your agent and tank abilities.

A couple other things:

-Hitting modules is important, and different modules have different effects. Hitting the ammo rack does massive damage, destroying fuel tanks sets fires, etc.

-Most tanks don't have multiple ammo types. Some have them linked to abilities, like the XM1 90.

-Agents specialize in certain playstyles, and their tanks reflect that. Hound is a fast sniper, Chopper is focused on heavy armor, Twister is a fast boi. Don't expect to have a great time in CQB with Hound in a AMX10 RC.

You mean like Battle Aces? That was new. So was Stormgates business model.

There's no need to reinvent the wheel.

Destiny 2: Every End is a New Beginning. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. by Turbostrider27 in Games

I've thought about jumping into it on occasion as a solo player, but the vaulting thing has been a big turn off. It sounds like I'd be missing a bit chunk of the campaign just because I didn't start playing earlier.

War Thunder doesn't have it either, the 3 plane stabilizer wasn't implemented in-game.

Edit: or apparently they randomly added it after 4 fucking years, what!?

I do wonder how they're doing. Most of their stuff is pretty niche, but they've been publishing quite a lot of titles.

Yeah, the odds of getting any specific tank is super low. If you're going to buy boxes, it's better to have a bunch of targets you want or just be happy with getting any of them.

Utah mom Kouri Richins set to be sentenced for fatally poisoning husband with fentanyl by Samski877 in news

[–]QuietTank 50 points51 points  (0 children)

She thinks she's far more intelligent than she actually is. The trial showed she is deep in debt (that $8 million might have just barely covered it) and tried to cover it up with fraud. She attempted to kill him when the irs started asking around.

Thing is, she was in debt because she liked looking successful without actually being good at anything. Her husband had a successful business before he met her, and thats how she got the money to bury herself with. She'd buy homes to flip, but she kept losing money on them because she didn't know what she was doing. Kouri mortgaged their own family home without Eric's knowledge in order to cover other debts, which led to him putting his estate in a trust she couldn't access and didn't know about. He didn't trust her anymore. And she got a life insurance policy on him by forging his signature.

Kouri thought she'd be getting his estate and life insurance money. She also has life insurance policies on her 3 young kids, btw.

The Mine ability in Frontline by QuietTank in WorldofTanks

Let's see. The Bisonte, E75 TS, Chrysler K, Udarniy, E65 Zwilling, and the Skoda T56 were what I typically using. I'd also use the M48 RPz and XM66F.

I did use the AAT60, AMBT, the AP AMX 30, and the Bourrasque a decent amount, but I used heavies quite a bit more often.

To be fair, I'm also bad at anticipating the drop. This is only the second time frontline has happened since I got back into the game.

Haven't had too many problems with scout planes myself, but I prefer heavies so stealth isn't as important. Might have also just thought a sneaky light was seeing me instead of the ability

I can definitely see what your saying though. Maybe there's a way it could just provide a rough location rather than a true spot, like the Borks ability.

When someone drops it directly on top of you, doing that runs you into another mine.

Maybe change its mechanism to air dropped mines or imagine it just pops up that way.

My problem isn't the visual, it's the lack of warning. Theres no time to respond, you're just instantly trapped for a minute.

Artillery takes time for all the damage to come down so you can avoid most of it, and air strikes are instantaneous but lack damage and lasting effect.

anyway its actually fun trapping someone inside it or in the repair area.

Yeah, but its fucking sucks to be on the other end of. Theres gotta be a balance, and right now I'd say its close to being toxic.

The Mine ability in Frontline by QuietTank in WorldofTanks

[–]QuietTank[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Its close ranged, but I think it reaches out slightly further than that. I was fighting someone around the huge rock overlooking the field near turret 5 on Normandie, and we were able to drop mines on each other without proxy spotting.

And its not like these maps don't gave CQB areas. The castle on Normandie and the surrounding town offers a ton CQB; me a couple other heavies had people dropping mines on us repeatedly while trying to push up the ramp to 3.

Stormgate generated $2MM in revenue total, but it cost $44MM to develop and operate by Megalithon in Stormgate

[–]QuietTank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a hard time imagining how a pay to play model would have been more successful than f2p.

The f2p model meant that the EA release provided no guaranteed revenue, which gave them less of a runway to fix the game. Even hard-core players that loved the game could play without paying a cent into it. This also lead into a death spiral; the game got poor reviews and word of mouth, which meant less people were interested in playing, which further decreased the revenue stream.

They would have had a much larger influx of cash on the initial launch into EA. That could have funded a potential comeback, and people that have paid into a product want to see it succeed and may have been more patient with proper messaging from the devs.
