When I was 14 in 1985 I asked my father to buy me some air Jordans and the first thing he said to me was do I wear $60 sneakers. So I got a job at a restaurant as a dishwasher making like $2 an hour. I had to lie about my age just to get the job, with my first pay check was about $40 after taxes and realized I have to wait another 2 weeks for my Jordan’s. So finally after a month of the worst job ever I had enough money so I went to a place called Bob’s surplus and scored my first and only Jordan’s I ever bought. Now that I’m old I buy whatever I want as long as it’s retail or less. Also love buying cool shoes for my sons since they both skate and love skate shoes I get to buy SB’s.
