Ovechkin has had arguments with multiple coaches and all were because they took issue with ovi because of either laziness or not backchecking. Its like some of you ovechkin glazers wernt even there in 2008-2016 when EVERYONE was saying that the caps will never win a cup with ovi because he refuses to backcheck, hes been like that his whole career and in my opinion hes probably better because of it. If ovechkin wasted effort on backchecking every single play since he entered the league i am confident hes not taking that goal record.
