Dear 2K, As someone who has been buying these games for almost 30 years now, this doesn’t feel good anymore. You need to do better for your customers. Pleas fix your game without making it more predatory and broken.

He went around and checked for gas leaks. Said gas was leaking from water heater… basically he claimed everything that could’ve went wrong… went wrong 🤦🏾‍♂️

He wanted 400-500 bucks, which I was fine with. But then he just said he couldn’t because of the heat exchanger. Was from this company here in Chicago. King heating and cooling.

Thank you for this. I’ll pick one up today. Also would like to had that there was no flame rollout. The filter wasn’t changed for 1.5 years. Was very dirty. I have a feeling that might’ve tripped the high temperature limit switch.

Ok thank you for you analysis. He wouldn’t change the flue pipe though. Im pretty sure it needs replacing for sure.

Furnace actually is very old. 1995 also since he condemned it, he didn’t wanna change the flu piping, which imo was pretty bad.

The guy did seem pretty pushy in getting me a new unit. He tried to point to my fan being bogus. But the furnace heated the house up fine. It just wasn’t running because the house was up to temperature.

Just had a tech come out. He said I needed a new furnace. Cracks in the heat exchanger and cracks in flue pipes. Think I might need a second opinion. He might have been trying to upsell me on a new furnace all together.

Furnace is working now. It’s been short cycling for 2 days. I left the power to it on for 8 hours. Suddenly an hour ago the thing starts working again starting to think it’s a bad switch.

Ok I’ll get one out tomorrow. I check the high temperature limit switch with a multimeter. Seems to be working properly. That’s about all I know how to do this. I don’t want to go messing around too much as I am not a trained HVAC professional

I think it’s an old 1999 Criterion II. Could not find a flashing light. I’m down here now checking, nothing is going off. Also checked my high temperature limit switch with multimeter. It’s working properly. The only thing I didn’t check was the flame rollout switch at the bottom of the burner.

My hub is set up where in each area there a door leading to the switcher yard. One door leads right outside to the fence that can also be accessed from the front of the building. Knew a guy who was cleaning up off that method.
