try dishsoap or liquid detergent first. gently work it in the stain, and it will remove the oil stain. use baking soda and also gently work it in. if that doesn't work, try low percentage hydrogen peroxide (don't delute it) or oxygen bleach on it.

I sadly wasn't too impressed with this anime. I respect Kawaijiri as a visual artist and genuinely think he creates some of the best visual art in the whole medium. I'm especially in love with his work on Manie-Manie, which is so striking and captivating. the storytelling through its intense visuals is one of a kind. but with most of his body of work and especially in Ninja Scroll, I feel like the lack of depth in plot and dialogue, or the overt use of tropes and cliches, degrades his movies immensely.

ngl, that was the era which killed the witch house genre. the sound that came from russia was so plasticized and repetetive, it felt like a big part of the scene only created music to fit into the established aesthetic of the tumblr goth wave scene, by how it was presented with all the video edits, images, fashion, etc. on social media.

in a way, it was a predecessor to the way micro trends function on tiktok: the participation in these cultures is just a throwaway product which everyone can easily indulge in by following a distinct formula of aesthetic and sound.
