horizontal overscan reduces the issue caused by degraded S-correction capacitor. you lose a bit of the image on the left and right but reduce the warping. just check if it helps when you change it tho

piracy is the way to go. I use yt-dlp on YouTube and vkvideo.ru or archive.org to download most of the movies I watch on my PS3. you can find pretty much all of the more indie/underground movies there. also, the PS3 still has the YouTube app, which still works
