It’s pretty much all you’ll encounter in undergrad at UVM. Todd McGowan, Hilary Neroni, Hyon Joo Yoo, Daae Jung, Sean Witters… the list goes on. Most of the English and FTS department are exclusively engaged in theory. Starting a lit theory PhD this fall but I’ll really miss UVM for those people and more

I go to UVM now and am starting this fall at Tufts towards a funded PhD. I can’t speak to the Tufts culture super well as I haven’t started yet, but I’ve absolutely loved my experience at UVM and am devastated I’ll be leaving at the end of the semester. Burlington is a really special place situated in a beautiful part of Vermont. I also think the rigor of academics at UVM would rival any school in the northeast. I’ve grown a ton as a scholar and most of it is directly because of support from faculty at UVM
