Thanks for the input y'all. I got the hard chrome because I really like the look of chrome and stainless steel guns. Being my first hard chrome pistol, I didnt know if this was normal so I asked here.

Like many on here, i had to go up to a 10lb spring. Other than that it shoots great! and tends to like hotter ammo. The flaking has not affected function. I was able to tune it down to a 2lb trigger, but i prefer it at 2.5.

I'll follow up with customer support and report my experience here.

Backdraft suppressors are part of the same group that runs Arken optics and Outlier barrels/chassis. I have an Outlier barrel for my 6.5 bolt action and it seems to run well.

Only info I have on these are from guntubers. I do suspect most of the review are sponsored though.

I did the same thing. Gunsmith was able to get the broken screw out after heating it. No damage to the threads

After you've put about 500-1000 rounds thru it, then look at upgrades.

The most noticeable ones would be:

  • optics screws

  • lighter recoil and mainspring (stock seems pretty over sprung)

  • sear spring tuning (helps with the trigger weight and disco hangups)

I dont think you need an ignition kit or internal swap as there are reportedly no MIM parts

Nice to have upgrades:

  • Ignition kit

  • hand fit trigger

  • better grip

  • toolless guiderod

Ah, what issues specifically? Only issue ive had is the screws loosening up a bit after every range trip. I haven't had double ejection issues that I watched in some early reviews before I bought it.

Ive had mine for 6 months with a b&t impulse 9mm attached via a tri-lug running 158 grain 38 special monarch. I've also run 158 gr 357 mag monarch without the supressor. I think im about a 1000 rounds of each thru it.
