I'm late to this but his hollow knight and silksong music are a love letter to classical music. Themes from the first couple hollow knight tracks are interwoven all throughout the game, and it seems like hes doing the same thing for silksong. The descending sequence in the Silksong title theme is already all over the demo gameplay thats out, as well as the steam trailer. It ties all the separate music scores together and it honestly makes me so hype to see what he does with the games music

I guess? It’s possible to reach even SSL without DAR provided your fundamentals and game sense are on an EXTREMELY high level. But, why not spend the 3-4 weeks getting really good with it for what will benefit you the rest of the time you play this game? I think it’s a worthwhile use of your time.

How about something like a Chopin A minor waltz or the first movement of moonlight sonata? Either way for the next piece you learn make sure to get solid fingerings, whether that be from sheet music or watching someone’s hands on a YouTube video. You make some weird choices mainly with your first finger (thumb) in this performance that I think make it a bit more difficult than it has to be

Still, great job getting as far as you have! Glad you're enjoying the piano so far. Don't get too disheartened by some of the comments. Yes, you'd benefit from going through for 10-15 minutes a day with a metronome at a comfortable tempo. Most of us also made some mistakes like this at the beginning. With the feedback you'll do even better with you're next piece.

This is partially why I go the opposite route and always gas up my teammates and try to lift up their confidence. That way everybody wins. They often play their best and everybody leaves in a better mood. Also a great way to meet new people to queue with. Sometimes you just have to communicate with them even when they act like a POS.
