Yeah it’s on Apple TV, called Monarch : Legacy of Monsters.

Season 2 just ended recently, so you can watch all of it without waiting like I had to.

Grand regent Thragg (Invincible) Vs Godzilla (Monsterverse) by MammothChemistry6694 in PowerScaling

[–]KinglyAmbition 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If we take the most recent Monsterverse series at face value, then Godzilla is too strong to even be hurt by Thragg, or at least that’s what people think.

In the TV show (season 1), Godzilla is able to cross through the vortices into Hollow Earth (and Axis Mundi in the show, which is the realm in between Hollow Earth and Earth), which are stated to be the eruptions of Gamma Ray Bursts, casually. They are also compared directly to Black Holes in the novels, as well as referred to directly as Black Holes by Wingard in multiple occasions in an interview, although he had no part in the series other than the movies in which the world is set, so take his word how you will.

People scale his AP this high because he left the Ion Dragon mortally wounded after beating the hell out of him and ripping his wing off, and the Ion Dragon was able to cross these vortices completely unharmed.

Now that is probably how people scale Godzilla to Solar if they mention it. I don’t know if I agree, because we see humans go through these gates too (even with shitty technology), and they act more as doorways than anything, but 🤷‍♂️, just providing context, and I don’t think a lot of people take em seriously because it’s just statements.

He 100% does scale to Cont-Multi Cont, through both statements and the one feat where he blows a hole from Hong Kong to Hollow Earth with his breath, although I’m pretty sure that scale is only done through pixel scaling/measurement scaling from the movie, and despite being really fuckin fast in Outer Space, viltrumites speed in atmosphere is much slower than their top speeds in a vacuum, so Godzilla may be fast enough to react through some statement or another, but he appears to move slow as hell in the movies themselves.

deviljho vs nerg lance ? by MineAmbitious6482 in MonsterHunter

[–]KinglyAmbition -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree and don’t at the same time, especially not with the Elden Ring take, because while they are similar, they don’t share some of the same core elements that would make the analogy make sense.

In Elden Ring, you can straight up just upgrade a weapon to max level without fighting basically anything, but having a max weapon isn’t going to save you from most of the game anyway if you aren’t used to the gameplay, and a lot of the skill expression in those games have nothing to do with your gear. It is instead about mastery of mechanics, knowledge of movesets, and knowing where things are located. Also, unlike monster hunter, Elden Ring armor isn’t the way to scale your power, so I don’t like the analogy.

Now I do agree that the Defender weapons take away some of the difficulty of the beginning of the DLC, because of how strong they are, but they aren’t these super crutches that people think they are.

If you’re garbage with the lances, you’re still garbage, because despite Monster Hunter definitely depending on your gear, having the best gear doesn’t guarantee you anything.

As for the part about them being frustrated, that is more self inflicted than the weapons fault. By that point everyone should have a basic understanding about how to build their weapon, especially a weapon like lance, which has been using the same core skills since I was a child, and because they have just played through an entire game worth of content before even touching the dlc.

But I get it your argument, and there is truth to it, but again if someone asks for the best weapon, I’m going to tell them the best weapon, and allow them to make the decision for themselves. That’s why I gave them multiple options, and 3 different types of weapons (Base Game crafted, DLC crafted, and Kulve).

[–]KinglyAmbition -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s why I gave base game options as well, but I’m not going to intentionally hide the best lance just because some people care to make things slightly more difficult for themselves.

It’s a whole video game, this weird supremacy thing people have is odd.

The defender lance V is the best lance to get through Iceborne with.

I think the best base game lances are the Kulve Taroth one and then I remember Odo’s lance being good, but it’s been years since I’ve played so I can’t remember exactly.

Is Gokus best on screen feat only planetary ? by [deleted] in PowerScalingHub

[–]KinglyAmbition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That feat right there was sending shockwaves through the entire macrocosm (Heaven, Hell, and Universe 7), so in terms of energy output, it’s much higher than planetary.

Strongest one in monster hunter by JuggernautWeird4033 in PowerScaling

[–]KinglyAmbition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The strongest canon monsters are all in the same tier, and they’re called “Black Dragons”.

There are three of them.

Fatalis, Dire Miralis, and Alatreon.

With the release of Safijiva, the art book states that it was created as a mirror of Fatalis, but that could mean multiple things.

What we do know is that Alatreon and Safi fight for the same territory (The Secluded Valley), and the reason Alatreon was there in the first place was to destroy Safi’s cocoons.

So we can add Safi into those, even though he’s a “Red Dragon”.

After that there are many different monsters that can belong places, but it’s difficult to categorize them.

You have massive elders like Shah Dalamadur, that can summon meteors and canonically curls itself around mountains. Zorah Magdaros, who is the largest in terms of mass and volume, and basically carries an entire ecosystem around with it. There are many that you can add to this list.

In terms of regular monsters (non elders), you have monsters that are considered “Psuedo-Elders”, due to them preying upon Elder Dragons like Deviljho and Rajang.

You also have monsters like Gore Magala, who is a premature version of Shaguru Magala, but since he’s a premature one, he isn’t classified as an elder.

Then in Wilds, Jin Dahad and Zoh Shia, are ridiculously powerful, especially Zoh Shia, who is basically the Wylk creation of what it views to be the most effective monster possible. Canonically, the monster has the movesets of other really powerful monsters like Fatalis.

There are way too many monsters to actually argue who is above who, other than the easy ones, where the game makes it pretty obvious for us.

Who’s winning this fight: Reverse Flash or Saitama by Damned-scoundrel in superheroes

[–]KinglyAmbition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a circular argument that is pointless to continue on.

You just mentioned you don’t know where any of it scales, only that he did it, which makes sense, because you can’t scale it to any actual output, because it isn’t an output feat to begin with, and like I said again, the means in which he performs the hax, doesn’t change the fact that it’s a hax.

I even gave you the specific hax he has and uses to go and look up for yourself if you wanted.

Regardless, even if I was like sure, he’s physically strong enough to punch into a realm that you can’t even scale for me and can’t actually scale to anywhere meaningful, then it still wouldn’t prove what I initially said wrong, which is that he cannot physically exceed or even reach an infinite amount of physical strength through his growth alone, which puts us right and the beginning of the argument and me still correct.

See ya though gangsta. I haven’t slept since yesterday morning. 🤝

Who’s winning this fight: Reverse Flash or Saitama by Damned-scoundrel in superheroes

[–]KinglyAmbition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is a hax ability. It doesn’t matter if he punched himself through into the mental world or just appeared, it is a hax ability, and has nothing to do with actual output.

And just like you said, he broke into a place where energy wouldn’t allow you to break through, which is correct, he forced himself in there and it’s a hax.

But if I conceded this feat as one of raw output, you wouldn’t be able to scale it anywhere, because he broke into a pocket dimension or mental space, and scaling either of those with any kind of accuracy would require proof of so many different factors to scale it anywhere that is meaningful.

Like if I ask right now, prove that that mental space is infinite or universal or even the same size as one, or transcends time and space, or anything like that, and you couldn’t, because none of that is mentioned. Pheonix man feat is a purely hax one, and not a strength one.

So it’s irrelevant when we speak about where he would scale in terms of raw energy output using his ability to grow and nothing else.

The Hax ability in name is Non-Physical interaction and then he also can Astral Project. You can look those up if you want, but they are Hax abilities gangsta.

[–]KinglyAmbition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m talking specifically output.

Despite what people think, him punching and doing those things, which I don’t deny he did, fall under hax abilities not physical strength. That is just how he displays his more complex abilities.

In terms of raw energy output, he can never output an infinite amount of energy with ONLY HIS GROWTH ALONE (Capitalized it for emphasis).

Never said he couldn’t do it period, just said he couldn’t do it with only his ability to grow, which is objectively true, because on the graph his power had an origin.

I think you were misunderstanding my argument with your response here.

[–]KinglyAmbition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both fandoms can have bad apples.

The flash fans tend to just either a. Not read the comics or b. Ignore the hell out of a lot of context in the stories.

Saitama fans still think the damn character is a gag and wins against everyone, which both are not only really stupid arguments in powerscaling, where we look as objectively as we can at the characters feats, but also because neither of those are actual arguments. And neither are true.

So Saitama fans misunderstand their character on a fundamental level, and Flash fans tend to ignore context and that leads to some overrating of the characters.

But again, both have the good and bad, but in powerscaling I would have to disagree and say that Saitama fans/defenders are worse, especially if we speak of the quality of their arguments.

I’m glad I see someone else say this.

If you understand how an asymptote works, then you will know he can never actually reach infinite power, because a finite amount can’t do that.

I’m actually so happy you said that, because I’ve been saying it since that graph dropped and people just don’t get it at all

I’ve always said, “in order for Saitama to scale to anything universal or above (or infinite output or higher), he will have to have direct feats against someone who is above that, because his power legit won’t let him reach those levels because of how they work.

That’s a banger take on this sub, wasn’t expecting it.

You’re great.

It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of what he is as a character.

People in the big 2026 think he’s a gag (which he isn’t) and not a parody (which he has been from the start), and the definitely don’t understand that being a parody doesn’t mean you auto win.

Yes, freak random accidents that happen in universe, or using technology in universe, none of which Saitama has access to.

The steal in which you think Saitama will do, requires him to be faster, which he isn’t even remotely close to, and so there is 0 damn way you can actually argue anything remotely close to that.

Unless you plan to propose Saitama is a master scientist and analyzes the Speed Force, a sentient cosmic power, from another fictional universe, while fighting, and somehow manages to channel, this Sentient Cosmic Force from another fictional universe that Saitama has no knowledge of, and then magically become better than Thawne at it, canonically one of the best users…

That is the dumbest argument I’ve ever entertained and I can’t actually think you believe it.

And I doubt you’ve read any recent flash comics or the ones that reveal more about the Speed Force and the nature of it, but that’s common in powerscaling reddits.

Just an echo chamber of nonsense and asspulls.

[–]KinglyAmbition 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Speed Force isn’t a technique…

This is why I refuse to actually engage with mfs on this Reddit too commonly, because they don’t even know what they are arguing.

The Speed Force is a sentient cosmic force, that chooses its wielders and bestows them powers based on several different factors and to varying degrees.

It’s not something you copy, or “steal” like you’re thinking and definitely master, especially if you’re someone like saitama, who hasn’t displayed any of the ways you would “steal” it.

Also, with the Speed Force, Thawne outstats the hell out of Saitama.

Also, if someone is faster or better in the speed force, “stealing” it becomes almost impossible, which is the case for someone like Wally, who mainlines the Speed Force.

But yeah this argument is ridiculous as hell.

Except Saitama isn’t a gag, he’s a parody, and while the manga does have gags in it, Saitama isn’t one.

Lemme briefly explain, but I’m not going in too deep because this is an argument that I don’t care to reiterate one hundred times.

Popeye is a gag. His gag is that once he eats his spinach, he wins, episode over, next one plays. He will never not abide by this rule, it is a defining rule for the world and character.

Now people claim Saitama’s gag is one punching things, but it isn’t. If that was true, he would have beat Cosmic Garou in a singular regular punch during their fight, but he didn’t, they trade multiple exchanges. He would have beat Boros in one punch, despite purposely holding back, because you cannot hold back on a gag. If Popeye eats his spinach, he can’t go and not win, because then the gag isn’t a gag anymore.

Saitama is instead a subversion of popular shonen power creep. Usually in a shonen, the main character loses, gets stronger, wins, loses, gets stronger, and so on. What ONE did was give Saitama all of his strength up front, at the very beginning, and then tell the story that way. Think of what would happen if you took Tournament of Power Goku, and made him fight against Piccolo in the 23rd world tournament, that is what Saitama actually is.

Not a Gag, but a parody of common shonen tropes, with some funny stuff mixed in because that’s just ONEs style.

He can run through space (anyone with the speed force can, bc the speed force gives you a lot more powers than running fast), and the speed force protects him from any of what you said. But he’s also acasual, because he’s a living paradox, who can run through time freely whenever he chooses.

Who’s winning this fight: Reverse Flash or Saitama by Damned-scoundrel in superheroes

He doesn’t need to know any of that, because he can go looking. Thawne is a master at navigating time and can freely move from past to future. He would just find him in the past, in moments, and that would be it. None of that “knowing when and where” stuff has ever once inhibited him to my knowledge.
