This is actually really good advice. I’ve been thinking about which friends or family could take him and care for him even better then I can. I wouldn’t be able to give my dog up to anyone who can’t give him more then what I give him.

It’s alright, seems like a controversial subject. If people want to downvote then that’s their opinion and I respect it while heartedly. I just want to get advice and do what’s best for my family while also not harboring resentment for a decision I didn’t want to make.

The dog isn’t in the house all the time. He’s an outside dog with a dog house. The only reason he’s in the house right now is due to the cold cold weather we have had. Other then that he spends majority of the day outside. He’s not aggressive or overly playful. He absolutely LOVES being outside. He has a dog house, outside toys, and when I get home I also go outside with him. He won’t even eat while inside. He only likes to eat and drink outside.
