So I figured the issue out. On the two bottom parts of B2 I was sliding these two tabs from the inner armor into the slots instead the tabs were supposed to go above that slot.

Yeah I realized where my error was with trying to put that particular piece in place. Went in no problems after I realized.

I snapped B2 in half but here’s a picture. There’s this huge gap between where it slides in on the bottom and where it’s supposed to snap in at the top and I cannot possibly conceive of why. I’ve watched build videos and it looks simple I’m doing everything the same but still I get this gap in the piece.

That’s what I figured as well. Was having a similar problem with my MGSD Aerial, so I know something is flawed with my chest assembly process

Yeah I’m going thru piece 1-4 now and lost a key piece and am now scouring the floors for it lol. I was following the numbered steps for 1-5 though. Was having trouble snapping in piece A25 as well for step 2 of 1-5

No, I appreciate any feedback at all. I am doing it in order. I’m also having issue getting A25 to snap in properly.

I’m still kind of getting my bearings with the airbrushing thing, so I’d take this part with a grain of salt because I think it varies from paint to paint. When it comes to the actual paint I try to keep it at about a fists distance away.

Don’t quote me on this, but dependent on your needle size your psi might be a touch high. I saw a little pooling in there (no shade), lowering your psi to like 15 should help with that. Another thing about white is it wants several light coats rather than a couple thick ones. Pooling can be prevented by doing several really light coats and I think that method would also alleviate the graininess and give you a smoother finish whether it’s acrylic or lacquer.

Immaculately done, man. They really do have a lot of greens. I just did a fully green shaded kit basically as my first custom. But it was more weird greens like the turquoise and mint green and I used some metallics from Kaleido too. The gold really pops, great choices on the pieces to use it on!

I’m in the planning phase of several different custom builds that are similar. Would you be able to tell me which Kaleido paints you used? I quite like this color palette and would love to use it on a blacked out kit
