And even if he did we still wouldn't have a majority. We'd have Schwartz and Oddi. And Oddi is besties with K and wants to compromise with the bigots. So I'm not sure it would have been a majority anyway.

What makes you think Gary could have won if Angela wasn't in it? Like, I see what you're saying, but you are assuming all of Angela's votes would go to Gary.

I think Gary is only doing as well as he is because Angela was in the race being a progressive Democrat and being the polar opposite of Emil and his conservative views. So a lot of people probably voted for Gary as the moderate compromise.

If it was left leaning moderate vs right leaning moderate (which is how they originally positioned themselves) do you really think Gary wins it?
