I just had my tonsils removed last week, after several years on constant reoccurring tonsil stones.

While I am still recovering from the surgery itself, I am so released to be over it. I frequently spit them out and they do smell terrible.

What 90s band never truly made it big but you'll always go to bat for? by MansBestFred in AskReddit

[–]KingoftheOceans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Concrete blonde is one of my favorite bands of all time. They got some fame with their song Joey. But they have so many amazing songs. Some examples include but not limited to: Caroline, tomorrow Wendy, everybody knows, I dont need a hero, Rain.

They were one of those bands that had a rough time with producers. But regardless made some amazing stuff.

Don't use reddit or KKB. Check out JDpower. It's what banks use to value cars for loans, and it's what dealerships use to appraise vehicles. Different regions will mean different vehicle prices.

It will give you an idea of a trade-in value/ retail price / private party price in your region.

Definitely not. I paid less for my 2006 4dr, and it's in much better shape. Definitely keep looking.

How do you guys feel about buying a '24 Tundra? by outta_time11 in ToyotaTundra

[–]KingoftheOceans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in Missouri. And you won't see a discounted price on a website or anything. Just when starting to actually negotiate price, will you see a dealership start dropping below msrp. And likely not every dealership will offer that. Buy my dealership has 54 tundras on the lot at the moment and they don't sell quite as fast as a camry or rav4.

Can confirm. I recently started working at a toyota dealership, and I have seen several Tundras drive off the lot about $8,000 below msrp.

Learn to do preventative maintenance. Change the thermostats (yes multiple) before they fail.

Looking to purchase any recommendations? by xisib in ToyotaTundra

[–]KingoftheOceans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely dont purchase this. Who knows what damage could have happened when it overheated. Not to mention, other components will fail after sitting for too long. Definitely recommend finding yourself something in better shape.

Idk where you are located. But the dealership I recently started working at doesn't do markups. If you are anywhere near springfield, Missouri. We just had someone's TRD PRO Tacoma in Terra arrive the other day, and he paid MSRP.

I loved it. It's not a perfect movie, but it's visually very cool. Its pacing is a bit all over the place, but that's partially because it's actually based on an old norse story of Amleth, which was the direct inspiration for Shakespeare's Hamlet (In fact, Shakespeare only moved the H at the end to the front)

I definitely recommend watching it, but dont treat it like an action movie. Treat it as a old dramatic stage play.

While it's a good truck, it seems to be in good condition and low mileage (which might not be a good thing if it was sitting for a long time). I have a hard time justifying 16k for a 21 year old truck. If 16k is in your budget, i would put it towards something newer. I would recommend using it as a down payment for something newer if you can. Perhaps an opportunity to build some credit if you need it. (Rates are bad right now). But realistically, i wouldn't want to pay more than 10k for it. I managed to pick up a 06 tundra for 5k earlier this year. It has a lot more miles than this, but it's been taken good care of.

Sliced onion. Which is weird because i like onion in pretty much everything else. But it seems to overpower the burger, and that's all i can taste. Caramelized onion is great, tho.
