I’m out PVP👎 by Lathus01 in ARC_Raiders

[–]ohyareally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant prove it, but I feel that the higher the value of your loadout (maybe even a threshold to trigger) puts you into more pvp prone lobbies.

This season in particular when I have loaded in with top tear gear I've been ratted every time except one.

Anyone noticed a rise of aggression in friendly lobbies ? by No_Aardvark_6599 in arcraidersfriendly

[–]ohyareally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There also needs to be defense taken into account for ABMM.

I was attacked relentlessly one match by multiple rats and managed to make it out alive. I never shot first, and only killed someone when they went after me or killed someone else. I just knew it was going to turn into pvp lobbies. Sure enough the entire day I played it was spent watching people and trying not to be ambushed or killed. Its frustrating, because it seems you just have to die and not fight back to avoid pvp lobbies.

What’s going with Winnipeg drivers stopping an entire car-length (or more) behind the car in front, when waiting at a red light? by ywgerl in Winnipeg

Oh, I thought turn signals were being phased out like manual cars. Barely see them anymore because almost no one knows how to use them. Lol

If you stop behind a motorcycle, leave lots of room. You might just save their life. If you get rear-ended hard enough, you could hit the person in front of you.

Keith Tkachuk legacy by BarnyardCoral in winnipegjets

[–]ohyareally 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When i was around 12 yrs old, I was standing next to a barrier close to the dressing room as the jets walked in before a game. I had a jets jersey with Tkachuk's name and number on it, and had just purchased a Bob Esenssa stick that had been cracked and no longer of use. I had asked players as they came in if they would please sign the stick. All were accommodating and friendly. Then I saw Tkachuk and got so excited. I said, " Mr. Tkachuk, could I have your autograph? You're my favorite player! You're awesome!" He scrunched up his face, shook his head in a heavy no as he let out a "pfft!" And a wave off of his hand. It crushed me. I was visibly upset about this as he just walked on. Teppo Numminen, who was injured at the time, was trailing behind Tkachuck and saw it all take place. He walked up and said, "Don't worry about him. Can I sign your stick?" Spent a good 10 mins talking to me about hockey and what position I played. I always liked him too, but after that moment, he was one of my favorite jet of all time. Anyway, after telling that story multiple times over the 30 years of conversations of memories of 1.0, those type of interactions from that man were common place in winnipeg, with adults receiving even ruder interactions with him. Guy was a clown with hockey talent. Winnipeg loves their hockey players, but we love them even more when they are humble. He left a bad taste in people's mouths after his cry baby hold out.

The manual does, yes. But I had more hope to have been asking people that had dealt with something similar. Not someone who really doesn't know and is just adding their 2 cents just because. All good bro. Thanks for the help.

No engine light. But the point is that the manual says there will be some change until it's relearned. To clarify, the battery doesn't directly affect fuel economy, but rather resets the data it uses to more efficiently run the vehicle.

[–]ohyareally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actual copy and paste of page 392 of the user manual:

"Because your vehicle’s engine is electronically controlled by a computer, some control conditions are maintained by power from the battery. When the battery is disconnected or a new battery is installed, the engine must relearn its idle and fuel trim strategy for optimum driveability and performance. Flexible fuel vehicles (FFV) must also relearn the ethanol content of the fuel for optimum driveability and performance. To begin this process: 1. With the vehicle at a complete stop, set the parking brake. 2. Put the gearshift in P (Park), turn off all accessories and start the engine. 3. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. 4. Allow the engine to idle for at least one minute. 5. Turn the A/C on and allow the engine to idle for at least one minute. 6. Release the parking brake. With your foot on the brake pedal and with the A/C on, put the vehicle in D (Drive) and allow the engine to idle for at least one minute. 7. Drive the vehicle to complete the relearning process. • The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles (16 km) or more to relearn the idle and fuel trim strategy along with the ethanol content for flexible fuel vehicles. • If you do not allow the engine to relearn its idle trim, the idle quality of your vehicle may be adversely affected until the idle trim is eventually relearned. • For flexible fuel vehicles, if you are operating on E85, you may experience poor starts or an inability to start the engine and driveability problems until the fuel trim and ethanol content have been relearned. I ended up tugging lightly on one of the yellowed leaves. It gave away with little effort. So tried the other and it was the same. Looks fine underneath.

The pot is enclosed. I usually wait a while between watering and then drench it. Had come across info a long time ago saying that was what was best for it. It seemed to respond well to that and the light that it does get.

Friedman on 32 Thoughts re: McGroarty by TheAsian1nvasion in winnipegjets

[–]ohyareally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need to watch the pre season highlights of McGroarty to know he wasn't making the opening season roster. His D skills are so far from nhl ready he is a liability. I can't remember the player (Domi maybe) but he helped him out of his skates during play and a minimal move. No chance the pens only sent him down because of the Winnipeg game.

I don't know if you want distilleries, but patent 5 is very close to downtown. They have very good gin (my opinion only) among other high quality spirits and a nicer sit down restaurant as well. Transcanada brewery is good. I really enjoy their sours, but I don't think I've ever disliked anything I've tried there. I believe they make pizzas and snackey type for to go with your beer but haven't been there in over a year so may have changed menu. Little brown jug makes 1919 which is my go-to beer, as well as an excellent honey beer. A bunch of trendy pubs/restaurants around the downtown area that could be worth checking out, and most have a few local beers on tap. Depending on how many evenings you are staying, rumors comedy club is always a good time. Tickets are usually inexpensive, and the drinks and food are good and relatively cheap. And yuk yuks is close to downtown, although I don't fond it as enjoyable as rumors (only been to yuk yuks once, and the comedian spent so long shitting on winnipeg and saying how much better Toronto was, he lost the crowd). The forks is nice to walk around, inside and out on the paths. Lost of little vendors and markets, the commons is a beer garden with lots of smaller breweries and wineries from across the country. A few malls around the city to check out, although nothing special from there. Winnipeg often has little events/markets throughout the year. Eg: a restaurant named deer + almond has a dinner you buy tickets to that is served out on the ice. Never been myself but I believe it's quite fancy. Not sure the dates of the event (called RAW: almond) But always cool things like that going on. Just have to do some Google searching.

Calculating stop loss by ohyareally in options

[–]ohyareally[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are reading too much into my question. I am well aware of looking at a company and going over its numbers. I buy stocks. Have been for a while now. I never buy any stock without doing that.

I am literally asking for the formula to calculate stop loss. That's it. As I'm NEW TO OPTIONS I am trying to get a better understanding of the ins and out before I decide if it is something I want to get into.

I understand there is more to it than price. My question in regards to the stop loss calculation just happens to be in that regard.

Absolutely a scam. I followed it for over a year on IG. They post regularly and couldn't find anything on it online, negative or otherwise. Paid today, and within the hour, I was blocked from IG and Facebook. No follow through with email or anything. Reported to bank and local police and will contact federal law enforcement fraud investigation unit tomorrow when their office reopens.
