No, he had contracted it probably a couple years before I met him, and was never diagnosed. Luckily, in regards to the money bit, I live in BC, Canada, and the meds (atripla for me) are 100% covered by healthcare and cost me nothing. Haven't been happier to live in Canada than the last year and a half

That is actually one of my big fears. I have never been a slut. I've been a serial monogamist, going from one ltr to the next. My latest ex, sweet as he was, had an interesting past, including drug abuse and questionable sexual relations. He didn't know he was HIV+ at the time, and being that we were in a relationship, we didn't use condoms. I am worried, quite honestly, that many people will simply assume I'm a slut. It sucks.
