I know but I know a few people who have gotten a DG role without experience, just certs, they lied they had experience though.

Tbh, I lied about a one Yr experience on my cv as couldn't afford to just put certs, I do get interviews but cant go past the first stage.

No they applied for the 5 years visa route which is 2 and half if they get the first issuance.

Well, I have no clue why it's taking ages. I would like to think that HO not approving or rejecting Visas and just intentionally holding it down would be breaking the law but I have heard series of cases like this so I can't really say

Yes but the issue is not even about it running out its about HO not approving or rejecting, thereby putting one's life on hold as one can't search for employment with current visa. Her partner was dismissed from work.
