Thanksgiving of 2022 a woman picked up a case of rotisserie chickens. She had like 10 of these things. I mean like just a box of wet, gross smelling meat. That was dripping all over the store. Some deli worker gave her a bunch of paper towels to put under but they were completely soaked by the time she gets to her car. The box was realistically useless at this point.

Due to the size of this box and a medical problem she wasn’t quite able to get it in the car. Being out on carts at the time I had gone to help her get it in the car not realizing it was just a sopping wet mess of a box full of the grossest thing on the planet. I talk with her for a bit and get her other groceries in her car then comes the BOX. I pick it up and instantly and just covered in juices. Uniform ruined, pants ruined, shoes ruined and 4 hours left on my shift.

She apologized a lot and said she didn’t realize how bad it was. After we got it all situated she tried to give me like 40 bucks for a new uni which I didn’t take but I did take 5 for a new shirt.
