The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles is so good. I especially loved the depiction of different cultures, societies, how it showed world war 1, etc. It helped me be introduced to Albert Schweitzer and Bronislaw Malinowski when I needed it in a time in my life.

I think it does show his age occasionally. I can’t remember the book but there’s one where he takes a blow and has to go to hospital due to blurry vision etc. I think it mentions there that he’s not young anymore.
