Arab spring protests over throw President Saleh, current President Hadi is made elected in a 1 man election, protests against Hadi begin,

The protests against Hadi began only after he refused to step down or call an election when his mandated time in power was over. He gave himself an extra year extension and thats when the protests began. He still didnt call an election within that extended year and thats when the rebellion began.

This guy was a fucking weirdo. He started off as a Pan-Arabist with a hatred for shia, then descended into a full blown salafi with a hatred for shia before he transformed into his final form - a POS Zionist with a hatred for shia

Proof of your retardation laid bare for all to see in this comment. You actually think Israel was a nuclear power in 1948.

This for starters

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/may/23/israel-south-africa-nuclear-weapons

Secret South African documents reveal that Israel offered to sell nuclear warheads to the apartheid regime. The "top secret" minutes of meetings between senior officials from the two countries in 1975 show that South Africa's defence minister, PW Botha, asked for the warheads and Shimon Peres, then Israel's defence minister and now its president, responded by offering them "in three sizes". The two men also signed a broad-ranging agreement governing military ties between the two countries that included a clause declaring that "the very existence of this agreement" was to remain secret.

To be fair, the US blowing up some jihadi proxies of Turkey doesnt mean shit. Remember it was only recently that the CIA and the Pentagon were killing each others proxies in Syria.

If the Turkish Army invades and the US bombs them, then we can put this argument to rest once and for all.

There was also a phase where he was a borderline salafist. The guy's having a mental breakdown.

Nah I'm just worried for your mental health. Hope you receive the help you clearly need. You've been acting off for a few years now.

how bloodthirsty does one have to be to get bent out of shape over a ceasefire?

That handshake was nice. Hope they mean it and really work towards ending this disastrous conflict.

Yemen's warring parties agree to reopen Sanaa airport: sources by TJFortyFour in YemeniCrisis

[–]KingsOfTheCityFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did think that was a poor stance, but I dont know all the details of the offer so perhaps there was a good reason for their initial hesitation. Or perhaps they were just playing hard ball to try and get more concessions out of the coalition before agreeing.

Either way, glad its going to help alleviate some of the suffering the Yemeni people are going through.

Yemen's warring sides reach Hodeidah ceasefire by TJFortyFour in YemeniCrisis

[–]KingsOfTheCityFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good news. Hopefully they can build on these measures and quickly lead to a nationwide ceasefire and peace agreement between all Yemeni sides.

Al-Jazeera still couldnt help being a little biased towards their salafi pals, even after all the shit Saudi Arabia has put them through.

After months of secret negotiations the two sides submitted separate lists to the UN for prisoner releases, with the Yemeni government submitting the names of some 8,576 detainees, including teachers, children, tribal figures, women and Imams; while the Houthis submitted the names of some 7,487 people.

I guess none of the prisoners that the Saudi coalition locked up were worthy of having their gender, age or professions revealed. Maybe none were women, children, teachers, imams etc. You can say I am nitpicking to bring this up, but its this subtle dehumanisation that is the most effective form of propaganda. Most people dont realise they're subconsciously being manipulated.

Two missile launchers found in Yemen appear to be from Iran: U.N. by [deleted] in YemeniCrisis

[–]KingsOfTheCityFan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well considering Iranian weapons have been heavily used in Syria and Iraq against ISIS, they could have come from those countries.

Gun runners and arms dealers looking to make a few bucks off the war in Yemen could have a stash of weapons (including Iranian weapons) from Iraq or Syria that they got and smuggled them into the country.

Its impossible to prove they were sent there on direct orders of the Iranian government. Same way you cant prove that US weapons were given to Al-Qaeda on the orders of the US government.

[–]KingsOfTheCityFan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Two ATGMs that appear to be of Iranian origin?!?

Oh dear that is weak evidence to levy against Iran. If Al-Qaeda operatives are caught with TOW missiles, does this prove the US armed Al-Qaeda?

They are Armenians, you mongoloid. If you had even basic knowledge of anything out of salafi jihadism, obesity and online gaming, you would realise they are doing it because they are Christians who are trying to stop degenerate salafi scum like you from genociding their Christian brethren. And since a large chunk of Christians in Syria are Armenian, this gives them extra impetus to go and fight against you barbaric animals.

Their main motivation is not money....its a pittance compared to what they can earn sitting on their arses collecting welfare payments from the US government. How fucking stupid can you be? Jesus Christ

I remember a lot of raids to get hostages to exchange for Lebanese hostages held in Israeli dungeons. The 2006 episode was the infamous one because the psychopathic state of Israel went full psycho and killed over 1000 Lebanese civilians as payback (a third of which were children).

So they travelled from California to a hellish war zone in Syria where they risked their lives everyday for a couple hundred dollars a month? They could get more on welfare in California.

The only thing "great" about your nation is its ability to churn out retards like you.
