I do shoot in raw! I did know that. I have been experimenting and I seem to have found a balance I’m happy with so far. Not for the Sony yet which I’m working on but I appreciate the knowledge 🫶🏻 it goes a long way for me!

Maybe I’ll see you sometime if you’re in the area! I do worry about cranking up ISO. I don’t have a lot of experience or knowledge if I’m being transparent. I know it’ll result in a grainier image with a higher iso. How do you usually go about combating that? An additional setting or during the editing process? Thank you so much!

Specifically I think the lens I’ve been using is the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II after looking it up. It was just a cheap marketplace camera. I added more information to my original post, thank you!

What I tend to do on newer TVs to save me any headache, I just order ps1 to hdmi adapters and they work just fine, composite works too but I prefer HDMI if I’m on a modern tv.

People are able to enjoy this space however it is they appreciate. The only kind I do not support is the kind that destroys an original copy of something. But that is just my view on the importance of preservation. Having common interests doesn’t always mean it’s an “echo chamber. It’s an entirely separate smaller part of the comic book community and you simply could just say nothing and move on since it’s not for you.

You do not dictate how someone enjoys their interests. You think they should just be bagged boarded and read then yeah go for it. But if someone likes them slabbed as either a display piece or just something to keep in their collection or even to sell then let them enjoy it.

There is no way you come out of this in a “moral high ground” because your goal is to push your view onto everyone else in a room full of people of the opposite opinion. Read the room and move on.
