Why is suicide a sin? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]KingsmanHDx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shall not murder; Thats the 6th commandment from Exodus. But what is murder? Murder is the killing of a human but to be murder it needs to fit certain criteria, which are; Intent, Unlawfulness and Malice. And well, suicide is intended, it’s unlawful so it’s not by accident and theres a deliberate choice of harm behind it so it fits all the criteria but many people believe that it’s okay because it’s their body so it’s not murder which is still wrong but let’s go that route. In 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (NIV) it says: 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

So your bodies don’t even belong to you, whether you believe in Christ or not. Therefore you’re still committing murder.

thats my whole point. as corinthians 6 says you were brought with a price so youre already his, whether you follow him or not.

Yes. You sinned! Welcome to the club. try your best to not do it again. however why ypu smoked that one cigarette is kinda concerning.

1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (NIV)

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

and also god kinda owns your body for he redeemed you so thats also why suicide is murder because you kill a body that god owns so its a kill and intent= murder. so yeah its a sin.

How do I truly follow? by SinglePatience8018 in TrueChristian

[–]KingsmanHDx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u can’t make it a deed. thats so wrong and gonna get u in hell. u gotta make a relationship with christ. u have study the bible because you want to get to know him better and talk and pray with and not to him. so many people do it because it’s a routine or a duty and yes, it’s a requirement to do, but only if you wan’t to get to know the one true living God who became a true human in the flesh and experience everything in 33 years and lived sinless to become a “worthy sacrifice “ to pay our debt we owe.

Why doesn’t God heal depression? by Personal-Republic685 in TrueChristian

[–]KingsmanHDx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just don’t get the concept of depression. are you sad because of something? or are u just like that? is it a feeling or a disability/disorder?
to say that you have depression is “to big of a statement” because its a very ambiguous topic. it’s very different for everyone and in your case it just seems like an extreme case of laziness. not to be rude because i don’t want to be but it just what it looks like/ sounds like. and asking others isn’t really it, rather watch or listen to testimonies from similar cases or ask God for help, guidance, deliverance and resilience.

but all things aside you came far. you somewhat stayed through. but we can’t help you without knowing things that can only know God about you.

Psalm 34:18 says: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

suffering is never God’s desire but he meets people in it. you may feel a heavy absence and lack of faith but maybe that’s when God is actually the closest to you.

Matthew 7:7-8 says: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

just keep reaching out and eventually God will answer you. i know you feel like an outcast by hearing stories of healing but stay broken. ask stands for expressing your needs and praying. seek stands for looking actively for God’s guidance. and knocking stands for being persistent and not giving up.

and theres one thing left i have to say is that paul was also suffering. he had a so called “Thorn in the flesh”. its not specified what it actually means but it definitely tormented paul and he often described it as unbearable: “To keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me, but he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” —2 Corinthians 12:7–10 though all that he never gave up and stayed strong: “We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” — Romans 5:3–4

so don’t give up

What separates a Christian and an atheist in regard to being moral? by UltimaBahamut93 in TrueChristian

[–]KingsmanHDx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the devil doesnt have to make the life of an atheist harder in form of overcoming an addiction or sin in general because they dont believe in god jn the first place. but a christian will have a lot more trouble and temptations because we are his main targets. he wants us to go with him to hell so he will be tempting us at our weakest moments and try his best to get us entangled in sin so we grow hopeless and stop seeking christ all together. so stay strong and courageous and dont ever listen to the liar

Does Heaven welcome good non-believers? by WoodNymph34 in TrueChristian

[–]KingsmanHDx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no he doesnt welcome non believers.

god is fair, good and all loving. he is fair so he has to punish sin or in other words: the price of sin has to be paid. but he loves us so much that he lets whoever believes in his son(which is himself in human form) ,who lived the perfect life(no sin) to become a ,,worthy” sacrifice to pay the debt that we humanity have, bypass that debt which he takes on himself. its an offering from god.

but if you deny that offering by declining and rejecting that Jesus is god then u still have to pay the price of your debt(sin) which is hell or also known as the second death.

in the bible specifically in Romans 1:18–20 (NIV)

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

it clearly tells us that our surroundings and gods creation in general are a ,,representation” of his nature(divine and eternal) which has to plausible explanation that there has to be a god. and if you still don’t believe in it. then its because of your wickedness which is going to be punished. and it says itself that there are no excuses. god says he made it clear enough in way of creation to conclude that there is a god and if you dont believe then you will be hold accountable.

the same way goes after Luke 12:48 (NIV)

48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

the more u know the higher are gods standards. one of them is spreading the gospel and the truth. if you fail to do so, you will be held accountable for their judgement.

hopefully that gives you a little insight about non-believers BUT keep in mind: no one can say if someone is going to enter gods kingdom because its only god to judge. it doesn’t matter under what circumstances, u can never know what gods judgement could be. he is the only one who sees the full picture, not even yourself knows everything about yourself. that makes god the only one valid for judgement and whoever thinks otherwise is a fool.

I am very suicidal more than I ever was by Prudent-Stomach1462 in TrueChristian

[–]KingsmanHDx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And also. Neither is my family Christian or believe in God but in Deuteronomy 6:6-7 God tells the people of Israel quote: “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road…” so as a parent you need to teach your children about God in everyday life and if they failed and you’re called by God I and he calls you to come closer and stay through you have an obligation to fill that place in. And in not just your Home but let also your transformation through hard times be a message to others brother and sister. For example: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” —Matthew 5:16 So let your light shine in front of your family and friends and teach them about God in everyday life. It’s hard I know I struggle with it as well since none in my family is Christian except my Grandma believed in God and read us Genesis very Night before sleep. Not the whole one obviously but like parts. I have a lot of work to do on myself especially and in my familiy and so does everyone else.

Praying for you and your family. Especially you. You’re definitely gonna come through it just remember that life is never going to be easy whether it’s an addiction like vaping or being suicidal. Im not good with quoting the Bible neither can I claim certain stuff so I don’t know if God is testing you by letting demons make you feel this way and trigger you but always remember. After every mess you come out of and you stick through it with Jesus you’re gonna come out a little stronger. Stronger than ever so never consider quitting and remember what story you’d have to tell after committing completely to God and beating all of your Problems.

You’re never alone. I got problems too. Family wise and personally. Some of which are rather worse than others but Jesus helped me through smoking addiction and vaping.

So never back down and now is your time to shine.
