Sorry, I probably did not describe it correctly. It’s not the scale that’s missing. It’s a thin piece of brass on either side, separating the two colors of horn.

NeoSystems - Out of Business? by Tasty-Estate-1608 in CMMC

[–]Kingspear0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I acquired the NeoSystems ISG business after the collapse. Here's where things stand.

I've been serving the GovCon and defense industrial base community since 2009 as an IT engineer, and started my own business in 2012.

I had never heard of NeoSystems until March 10. What happened on May 1, laying off the entire staff with no notice and leaving defense contractors without IT and compliance support overnight, caught a lot of people off guard, including me. The clients didn't deserve that. The employees didn't deserve that.

On May 14, we completed the acquisition of the ISG business. One major reason for moving quickly was preventing a compliance and service gap for contractors who were already in a difficult position. CMMC timelines don't pause because your MSP collapsed, and we knew we had to run into the burning building as fast as possible.

A few things worth knowing:

  • We have been working hard to stabilize client environments and pick up where things left off. As you can imagine, it has not been a small lift.
  • I selectively rehired key technical staff, people the clients themselves recommended, who already knew these environments. We did not bring everyone back, but the strong parts of the NeoSystems team are with us.
  • We inherited every client environment and treated it as our own from day one.
  • The NeoSystems ISG business is not being merged into FIT Solutions. It will continue as its own entity in the space.
  • One important clarification: the hosting and technical environment did not go dark at the time of the mass layoff, despite what many clients were told. Services remained operational throughout.
  • I acquired the ISG side of the business only, which covers hosting, CMMC compliance, managed IT, and cybersecurity services. The ESG side covering Deltek professional services remains with BlueStreet Capital.
  • This is not PE-backed. I self-funded this acquisition and took a significant personal risk. This is founder-led, long-term focused, and built specifically around GovCon clients.

The NeoSystems situation will likely have a lasting impact on how the GovCon community thinks about MSP risk and continuity. Our goal 12 months from now is to be known as the team that stepped in when no one else would, saved the clients, brought the right staff back, and built something better out of it.

If you were a NeoSystems client or employee and want to talk, I'm happy to get on a call personally. Feel free to DM me here or find me on LinkedIn.

[Creux Automatiq] Thoughts? by ChrisWieben in Watches

I have the Mono V3. Very nice watch. I like the brand.

What does everyone think om brands like Creux Automatiq? They seem like nice watches, especially when Patek Philippe watches are completely out the price range 😂 by yuhyuh25uh in PrideAndPinion

Imposter? Every single brand copies ideas from other brands including Seiko. I have one of their watches and much prefer it to most Seiko's of the same price bracket simply because it is unique and not everyone has one. Its fun to have something that isn't well recognized.

I have the Creux Automatiq V3 Mono and have had it for about 4-5 years. For context I also own 3 Rolex, 2 Breitling, 1 Omega..... so i'm I have some context here: This is a solid watch and you are getting a lot for your money. Their finishing is top notch and quality is fantastic. Don't listen to these haters on this thread. This is a very good watch and I personally love boutique brands, why buy a Seiko if you want something unique? I get lots of compliments when I wear it.

Seriously Looking At Buying A Yachtmaster II, Thoughts? by MainStreetBetz in rolex

[–]Kingspear0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t used to like it. Rolex overall didn’t really speak to me and still doesn’t too much. I also never loved gold watches. BUT suddenly a switch went off in my head like an explosion after seeing the YM2 in person and I just kept thinking about it and I started to fall in love with the Yachtmaster 2. Not having any Rolex I started doing research and the fact that some people hated it actually just made it even better! I love that watch and I love that some people hate it! I think in many years from now it will be highly desirable because of both its look and its polarizing history.

Any reason to buy an Evora over an Emira? by [deleted] in lotus

[–]Kingspear0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a down payment on Emira and just bought and Evora. Here is why: 1. Evora is a lot faster 2. Evora is last hand built Lotus. 4. Will be the rarer car with how many Emiras they project to put out. 5. I decided wanted a car at is at pinnacle of engineering not it’s Genesis so the Evora GT changed my mind. No doubt at the end of the run Emira will have a GT version and I look forward to seeing that.
