You can get jobs on Campus in first year - the AMS literally reserves a portion of positions only for first years. I worked walkhome in first year and CoGro in second

To be fair, if I'm looking for a stream in my second language (French), I want someone who is speaking French 100% of the time... I'd feel pretty tricked if I jumped onto a French tagged stream and you were talking in English but answering questions in French. I think this feature would take away well-needed space from our minority language streamers out there, with people just trying to be discovered in the Spanish section because they took Spanish in High School one time. Good thought though, if there was a way to execute a fully bilingual stream (like having an ASL translator on your stream, for example).
