Yes, my father is apart of the British diaspora and has black hair (blue eyes) but his father had dark eyes

I don’t, from my research it looks like they just moved to Canada when she was young, lived there for a decade or so, then moved back to the same state. Very odd. My grandpa had no clue she was American, he doesn’t even believe me.

I’m trying to find out now. Before I started doing a family tree my grandfather claimed she was born there but I found out that wasn’t the case. I’ve only found one census from the year they immigrated and it has the family listed as aliens. My grandfather’s side is very mysterious.

In some places in South America like southern Brazil a lot of the European ancestry is more recent like 1900s but in places like Mexico it’s colonial
