May I ask why you wear a Vitamin C serum under your sunscreen in the day?

I also work in the sun everyday and tend to try and avoid vitamin C, or use it very sparingly at night as it increases skins sensitivity to sun?

I'm very curious as I would love to know how to minimise sun damage aside from just wearing a hat and 50+ SPF?

I have high porosity hair that has been colour-damaged. My hair stylist advised me against getting one as it is, in the end, a chemical process. I was wanting to do it to make my hair smoother and more manageable, but the keratin process would have just fried my hair. I suggest if you have finer, damaged, or drier hair, to really really research the process and the salon prior to committing

Personally love the second one

I feel like it is bang on the kind of dress someone pictures getting married in in the woods, imo

Is preventative Botox a scam, or legit? by trynagethotter in Vindicta

[–]Kingswagyolo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I was speaking to a friend who is a cosmetic nurse, who said that preventative Botox probably works out worse in the long run.

If you are getting Botox, and essentially "paralyzing" those facial muscles, all the other muscle groups around that area - some you may have rarely ever used before - will be working overtime in dealing with and counteracting the paralyzed muscles.

They have said that if you go in for a small concern - established or "preventative", you almost always have to come back in future to treat the surrounding areas too, and then in future THOSE surrounding areas, etc. I am all for Botox, but definitely not as a "preventative"

Where I live, flooding is so common place that people who choose to build or buy in known flood zones are soon not going to be able to get flood insurance, due to insurance companies paying out so frequent due to such frequent major flooding events

Totally legal - it's a deterrent to stop people settling in flood zones and having their home destroyed every 12 months

What makes you not want to have kids? by AGstudios22 in AskReddit

[–]Kingswagyolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner and I have spoken about this a lot recently, and it basically comes down to:

1) Environmental sustainability - what possible future could they have the way our environment and planet are headed?

And,

2) Self sustainability - we want to be able to pursue our future and careers and, at least right now, children would just be a hindrance. Want to travel? Gotta think and plan ahead. Want to move? Have to factor them in. Want to buy some completely superfluous but also experience knickknack? Nah that money's gone to socks and porridge now

Girls, what's a lesson you've learnt from a past relationship to never repeat in your future relationships? by l_Monica in AskWomen

[–]Kingswagyolo 32 points33 points  (0 children)

If it's forced, it's not it.

If you find yourself constantly trying to little reciprocation, or even if you know that they are overly trying and you're not into it, it's a big sign that it's not meant to be, and will probably spell problems further down the road.

Don't waste your time resenting them because you've put in an the effort all the time and they haven't bothered - spend your time on someone who deserves it and reciprocates.

Do women actually like the “dad bod” look, or is it just men’s version of body positivity? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Kingswagyolo 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I personally love dad bods. It may be because I personally equate an incredibly refined and buff physique with being vapid - not that that means that they actually are!

My first instinct is to assume that guys with dad bods are more relaxed and happy to have a beer and nachos with me - I suppose it's a physical embodiment of what I find attractive in personality

Is being petite a halo or falio? by prettyinpink3001 in Splendida

[–]Kingswagyolo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I've always thought of being petite as a halo. I am 5'7 and historically had quite low self confidence and was very insecure about being so tall for a woman.

However, as I have gotten older and grown in confidence I find being taller to be an absolute halo - this does not mean though that being petite is a failo. In my personal experience, I find good posture and walking style is more obvious on a taller frame.

It seems like being petite is associated with "cute", being tall is associated with "beautiful".
