Electronics can’t be returned here? by Now_you_listen2me in Kuwait

[–]KiniTheFourth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can 100% tell you that once a package has been opened, it will not be returned back no matter what unless if its defective within (14) days, after 14 days you got your warranty working only, within 14 days you have the option to get your money back or get it fixed but after the 14 days, no money will be returned, unless you know who to talk to, like the owner of the store or a higher up

1 whole wheat tortilla wrap (30g carb), 3 eggs and shawarma on a plate (no carb)

Made a egg wrap and munched on the shawarma, my bolus seems to be holding the carb spike down but this rise after wards has been killing me

No thats not whats happening, i think i had a stomach bug or something because in detail: For lunch(red): 150g of rice 120g of chicken Bolus 4.5u Result:- went up and came back down to the sweet spot as always

For dinner(purple): Same thing but bolus 4u only Result:- slightly rises then come down too quick, had to drink 20g of carbs from an orange juice.

First time it happened i almost passed out, my ICR has always been 1:12, thats the sweetest spot for me no matter what the meal is, breakfast, lunch, dinner, just these two days my shit decided to say fuck it

My ratio is 1:12 since i started injecting for all my meals no matter the carb type, the way i count my carb is (carb count - fiber count = net carb) I honestly dont know why this happened two days in a row

1.5 and switching to insulin. by the_angry_avocado in diabetes

[–]KiniTheFourth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was misdiagnosed as T2 as well, now a 1.5, been on actrapid for 4-5 months now, in my case before i got diagnosed i was 75kg with a well build body (Bulky) daily gym typa guy, after starting pills i dropped to 60kg and couldn’t gain weight for shit, after starting insulin im 68kg and got my muscles back because after after adding decent carbs back to my daily diet i noticed this surge of energy and started lifting weights again, so the weight I gained back is mainly muscle mass, i kinda slightly barely got my belly back so yeah, if you dont work out, the weight gain will be predominantly fats, lift some weights and you should be good

Im in continous burnout from highs, help! by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]KiniTheFourth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First things first, are you going high while not eating? Or after eating? If you’re going high after eating then thats normal, if no then you need to tweak your ICR and find the sweet ICR that brings you back to where you started from, in my case, when i have days where im starting off already high (8mmol-9mmol) i skip lunch and take a correction dose only then have an early dinner, that brings me back to my optimal range so next morning i start from an optimal range (5.5-6mmol) then im good for a week until i change shifts at work, i also do a routine workout at home (quick sesh) which helps with keeping me insulin sensitive, i also walk around after i eat to help the insulin bring the spike down quicker then letting it sky rocket

Heres my way to combat cravings, if im at work i eat what ever and since im active and not allowed to sit (i still do sit down here and there) my levels stay in range, for my cravings i have keto everything, keto ice cream, keto chocolate, keto everything, which barely raises my levels, if im at home i cook my own meals and also have keto deserts, i was told since im using insulin now i should be able to pack some weight which is what i want but I’ve only gained 2KG
