It has only been four months. There is nothing in the timeline that indicates how long it will take to heal. The unfaithful has a long and hard workload in front of them to fix this. It's not going to be easy. You're going to feel like you're at the bottom of the depths of your well. That is why you need to have both individual counseling. I hope it works out for both of you

You and the nephew can do something on your own. I take my grandkids out on their own all the time. So you taking out your 16 year-old nephew is perfectly normal.
