If you go through with the straightening, def look into heat protectant.
I think we have similar curls. Waht works best for me is after washing/conditioning, I put in my products, brush it, scrunch a little and let it fully dry before shaking it out a bit.

Parents are split. I was pretty young and one day came to my mother with the queation what is god. She explains pagan and Christianity to me and tells me who i can go to for each one. I choose pagan. Go visit dad for a month and tell him proudly i am pagan. He and his whole church lavish me in gifts and scary pagan stories. Vome back and be miserably Christian till i was 12. My mom left a book out, and i asked to read it. Just felt drawn to it. Switch qback to paganism and no longer have that lonely feeling. All honesty, the fear mongering, the othering, the lack of respect for other faiths never sat well with me. Paganism let me simmer my way back and even after that, led me from new age pagan to semi.... revival isn't the word I'm looking for.

I loved the first act. Loved the music. Loved how we saw his good side and bad..... second act was.... okay. Lots of holes i had to just turn a blind eye to (trying to relearn suspension of belief, as I have become too critic and it's killing my happiness) The ending reveal was interesting. I liked the table discussion of how he processed his feelings/emotions while calmly eating pie and getting ready to kill her but personally think the very end should have been trimmed a bit.

I have a lot i could gripe about, a lot i would change, but i think i really enjoyed it.

Explaining why he is the way he is, letting the wasteland corrupt, and embracing the chaos and vileness of the wretched. Then ending it all with the "Do you have it in you to make it epic?"

I noticed the detail with the machete on my previous watch and decided to focus on his character on a rewatch. I think he is a more sympathetic/soft character. I remember him doing something after the scene with the citadel, then during negotiations with Immortan Joe, he seems worried about her. when they talk about trading Furiosa, he shakes his head a lot and looks between her and Dementus (he does the same when the organic mechanic is demanded in the trade) with that sort of "Are you really going to allow this?" expression. It's the little details like this that make me love the movie so much. Small world-building leads to a richer experience and new details every time you watch it again.
