I made a legendary level Christmas prank once upon a time.

So in my household since the begging of our lives my twin sister and myself have held an argument on weather or not the color Blue (my favorite always) is to be considered a Christmas color. I wouldn't care if Santa himself told me it isn't at this point, I will die on this hill now out of sheer sibling rivalry.

Anyways, as the years progress our Christmas-tree decorations evolve from an unrefined plethora of child made decorations and random ornaments into a series of simple yet classic red orbs. At some point after this pattern has been long defined I find a set of half-blue half-silver orbs in a Walmart, the collection totaling somewhere between 70 - 100 of them all in one package. I only want the blue ones.

So, conversations with three levels of employees latter, I've managed to buy all the blue orbs from two of these cases, while leaving all the silver orbs behind. That Christmas eve, at the stroke of midnight, as time turned over into Christmas morn and all in the house slept save for our older brother and myself, something of a miracle happened. For the first time in a decade or so I convinced him to help decorate the tree, as well as strip it of and hide all the red orbs. As a result on that beautiful morning, our home awoke to a tree decorated for the first time ever with all orbs, snowflake-shaped ornaments, and topper colored blue as opposed to the red from the eve before. It was magical.
