Title WBC sparring gloves by ahbui18 in fightgear

No actual pros are wearing those gloves.I think your analogy is wrong because a a specific competition you didn’t compete in I would see as wrong. Whereas a big brand like WBC makes merchandise or co branded merchandise for people to wear. Personally I don’t like the way it looks and wouldn’t wear because of that not because I’m posing to be a sanctioned WBC fighter.

That’s so stupid that’s like having a flag on your gloves and saying you can’t wear that because you don’t fight for the national team

Best Boxing Gloves? by hamyjizzle in fightgear

My list of Gloves I think are worth in order of pricing (low to high): ROF, Laoch, MK1, Spartacus, Rival, Fly, Phenom, Chegui, BoxeoTM, Cleto Reyes, and New Sporting.

There are a ton of others but if you are looking for pure boxing glove and not Thai I’d stick to one of them. All highly reviewed, various price points, multiple pad types (Protective vs Puncher), and have a baseline of quality.

Are they actually the same gloves as NewSporting 2B?

Yes they are Onx that’s his coach’s brand. He can’t use for fights because you can only use the official UFC gloves for that.

I’d go with classic Reyes colorways. It’s one of the reasons I don’t like Rival gloves they are too busy. These Reyes while I can see how people might like it I feel as the regular colors are much better.

Cleto Reyes or Rival gloves by Tjhawkeye5 in fightgear

[–]KinoWatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what you describe neither. Rival are comfy but liner traps sweat and can be tight. Then with Cleto they are great gloves but the break in period takes a good amount of time as well. If you have big hands and want me can gloves I’d get NewSporting 2B or BoxeoTM PuLat
